Hi all. Appreciate everyone taking the time to read this. Bought my first jeep this week and very excited. Gladiator Mojave. I live in NJ.

Would like to add a spray in bed liner, tonneau cover and side steps to make it easier for the kids to get in and out.

Was thinking about the n fab podium steps but was wondering if anyone had other suggestions or could recommend a tonneau cover? Options are overwhelming.

Also, if anyone is from NJ can they recommend someone to do the spray in bed liner and install the cover / steps.

Thanks!!

Nice congrats!

I have a topper on my JT but have used BakFlip three piece hard tonneau covers on two previous F150s and really liked them. They are probably 98% water tight, hold up really well, about as secure as bed covers get, and not super expensive or hard to install. Also compared to roll up covers you can flip them totally out of the way for carrying tall stuff.

Thanks. Will check it out! Does anyone have any thoughts on the MOPAR one that seems to come on some gladiators? Think it is the roll up one.

I have the factory roll up bed cover on mine. It's now over three years old and has held up just fine. Yeah, occasional dampness (not a lot of water but just a little) inside but it takes a VERY heavy downpour for that to happen.

Welcome to the madness that is Jeeps :)

Looks awesome!! Love the lighter colored seats. Need to find time to figure out how to take the top and doors off.

The revolver is the roll up one? How does that do with All the lovely NJ weather?

People Work?
Yes, it's the roll up.
I'm not in NJ. Virginia. It does fine in my garage on messy days ?

Morris County. Was worried about the soft top since I probably won’t keep it in the garage but someone said the premium soft top held up pretty well so we will see!

never done any off-roading before so complete novice!

Hoping to take it down to island park state beach soon. Assume just need to air the tires down a bit and other than that I should be okay?

I went with the black mopar tubular steps. Definitely needed them for the wife and kid. The rock rails with step assist is a good oem option as well but they will be adding a good amount of weight (but also protection).

Congrats and welcome. Big fan of BAKFLIP. Just put another one on my new Rubicon. On the Overland I had the NFAB RKR Rock rail and steps. The steps come off easily when you want to offroad and the rail is heavy duty protection.

I’m right there with you. From somerset county. First jeep. Been to Island beach before with my old truck. There is a checklist of things you have to have.

It’s pretty common for people to take off the factory steps, so if you like that style keep an eye on the classifieds here, Craigslist, and Facebook Marketplace. Take off stuff comes up for sale all the time.
