It sounded nice, but my detailer said it didn't last very long. I believed him, because the racing optics only estimates it lasts 6 months per layer, so the two layer option is about a year. It also cost more. I'd be curious to hear from somebody who bought the tear offs and how they worked.Another alternative offers three layers of tear-offs like the NASCAR teams use.

Have you taken any rocks yet? Pretty easy to put on? Like putting on a big phone screen protector?I went with a kit that I installed myself:

It was with a different film that people I talked to said seemed to be a better film. Since I installed it myself, it was a lot cheaper than the quote I got on exoshield. I asked my detailer about it and he said the film in my kit was clearplex and he thought it was a better film, he just found it harder to install so didn't carry it. My kit was precut, so it was pretty easy.
I've had a few rocks hit it, but not too many yet. So far so good.Have you taken any rocks yet? Pretty easy to put on? Like putting on a big phone screen protector?
Dealership quoted me at $355 for Exoshield. It has a 2 year warranty whatever that means. Probably covers the protector not the windshield. ??‍![]()
