Sorry for the long message but I wanted to walk through everything I have tried. I keep getting the "Turn Signal Lights Out" message after installing LED bulbs in the taillights of my 2022 Gladiator. I purchased it last March and it had the stock factory halogen lights.

Timeline of events:

I first installed a pair of Quake LED Halo headlights that I purchased at the Quake booth at the Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge. No issues or errors with those.

I then installed LED bulbs for the Fog Lights, DRL Led Bulbs, and the Front Turn Signals. All of them were Alla Lighting bulbs from Amazon. No errors or issues after installing these bulbs at all.

A few days later I decided to do the same for the taillights and installed these bulbs, also Alla Lighting from Amazon - Reverse Lights and the Red Brake Tail Lights.

I then started getting the "Turn Signal Lights Out" error message. I do have the Tazer mini so I went through the steps of changing all the lights to LED in the system. I did the full reboots and the sleep cycles several times. The error message still remained. I even went through the steps to change the taillights back to "No" for LED , went through all the the reboot cycles, and then re-did it to "Yes" for LED and went through several reboot and sleep cycles again. Still no luck - the error message remains.

So I then ordered a set of 50w resistors from Amazon - Alla Lighting Resistors - and installed them this afternoon. I have never done anything like that before so I watched some videos on YouTube and went through the process of adding the resistors - I connected them to the Black and Yellow wires based on the videos I had watched.

The error message is still there. I am not sure what to try next or what I have done incorrectly. Of course, the turn signals and reverse lights do work correctly when applied. The turn signal indicator on the dash does seem to flash a little quicker than it did before.

Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated. I guess worse case scenario I can go back to the halogen bulbs in the taillights and later on purchase a full LED taillight set instead of just replacing the bulbs.

Todd

mine does this from time to time. After I let is sit for a couple hours, or after a couple of starts, it always resets.

Interestingly enough though my day time running lights don't run during the day time...but they run at night. weird.

Mine started doing that, too.
Turned out the DRLs had turned themselves OFF in the Settings Menu.

I've been getting turn signal lights out display on my dash for the front lights. Just started happening about a month ago. The lights are LED that are mounted into my JCR Offroad front fenders that have been on the Jeep for 8 months now. They function fine and there is no issue with the lights but I can't get the message to go away. And yes, I do have a Tazer and the settings are correct and the stock fender lights were LED to begin with.

Well, as you’re probably aware, they won’t come on a with the handbrake set.
And it could be a lamp failure. One of mine would work fine at night, but flicker and go out during the day; the DRLs run at two brightness levels.

Interesting, I actually didn’t know that. On my sport s they always looked the same brightness day or night.

i have the sylvania led bulbs in there at the moment. Maybe ill throw a set of Amazon leds in and see if it makes a difference

Not sure if your question was directed at me, the OP, or another person who replied but I am not sure about the Alla lighting bulbs I tried. They are supposedly plug and play and the ones I used in the front - DRLs and the Turn Signals - gave me no issues whatsoever. The problem only occurred with the bulbs in the taillights for the turn signals there.

Old thread. No, I have not tried to fix this with a Tazer or Jscan. I actually thought I had this beat by buying the "new" "advanced" led bulbs for my vehicle because Amazon said they fit. I know, I know, just buy $$$ entire led unit but it isn't that important to me and it appears that this only affects the rear brake lights and blinkers. Just going to put the original bulbs back in. I have read many a thread on this issue and it always comes back to the same led bulb location - rear brake/flasher. I am using the tried and true method of just putting the old bulbs back. :)
So in the true spirit of being Human I have decided to treat it like a bald spot on the back of someones head, "if they can't see it then is it really there?".
