Well, today the Jeep Trackers showed my Gladiator shipped on 10/11. The trackers were 16 days late in showing that status. Also, that date coincides with when my Gladiator was loaded on a rail car in western Illinois, which is a 2 state truck ride away from Toledo. I know this because my dealer has been sending me snapshots of their status screens. So, technically it was loaded on a truck and shipped from Toledo quite a bit earlier than 10/11.

What's the point of this post? Don't depend on the shipping info from the trackers. Once your Jeep is built it could arrive at your dealer a lot sooner than you think. I'm hoping to see mine tomorrow...

Thanks!! I think I've read a few others who received theirs faster, but this was astonishingly fast. I was hoping for mid-December when I ordered, especially since I had all the tech packages in there.

I definitely hit a stroke of luck with my order timing. Based on what I've read in the forums and my very limited understanding of the production process from various Videos and articles, orders are scheduled and built using weighted criteria. Those criteria include not just the colors and options, but forecast shipping routes/availability, sold vs. stock inventory, and of course parts inventory and labor availability. The weighting of the criteria itself is probably dynamic based on all the other factors.

In my case, again a wild guess:
  • I ordered during the week of the production shut down.
  • During that week, some components that weren't a part of the factory and supplier assembly shut down which may have previously been unavailable (chips, wiring harnesses, etc.) had some time to for supplies to build up.
  • @Minty JL had his Mojave build in queue long before my order, but they were both
    • Mojave builds
    • Sold orders
    • Limited Mopar add-ons
    • Destined to the same high-volume dealer
    • Dealer is also only a day or so by direct truck carrier delivery without involving train timelines or potential railroad strikes.
    • My order or someone else's JT or JL order could have been the last spot projected to fill that truck and trigger all 10 to be built around the same time (allowing for some add-ons, QC controls, etc.).
In my mind, I picture it kind of like a slot machine or the trickling green letters in the movie The Matrix.

White knuckled 3 hour drive on I-95 with typical traffic and idiots on the road! Windshield took an audible stone before 60 miles on the odometer. Also got mobbed with little white bugs that don't come off with washer fluid. Looks like I'll be doing detailed washing and inspection the next few days.
So very glad that I opted for the safety and advanced safety options, the blind spot monitoring significantly improves situational awareness at all times.

Barely have had time to enjoy the ride yet, but so far it's sweeeeett!!

I agree with all about the trackers but my dealer keeps sending me snapshots of what he is seeing and it is firmly lodged in the 'I' category (Unit Built, pending final inspection) as of 10/15. I feel really good that they are doing such a fine job of making sure my vehicle is inspected. I should have no problems when I get it since it took a few days to build and 3 times that amount of time to 'inspect' it.

keep eyeing my tracker. I did get an email this morning. moved up a week, to an 11/2 delivery date. And then excited bc my bumper was delivered today, that RR Arcus but I open it an...no bumper. Only hardware and winch plate. So pissed. This one I happened to snag off amazon (new) but now looks like I cant replace it, I have to do full return which blows. It was a good price. God forbid you need to talk to someone there. contact us just leads back to their problem trees.

I haven't received a screenshot but my dealer noted the same, in "I". Maybe they're waiting for a few more Sarge Greens to be built?

Well I may be getting somewhere. I spoke to the Top Dog at my dealership and he is elevating my issue to the District and Regional level. He also said that if they confirm it is done he is willing to send someone out from his shop to go get it. I also called the customer don't care about you line and they put in a help ticket. Seems like nobody is able to say why it takes so long to inspect a vehicle that is in built status. I called before and they wouldn't open a ticket but the new person I spoke with agreed with me that my original arrival date was 10/15 so since it was changed to 11/17 without a justification code other than vehicle is built but needs inspection she was kind enough to open a ticket. She said I should hear something in 24-48 hours. I will continue to keep the info coming but being in the service, being a veteran of foreign wars, and working for the DoD in IT for 29 years I just don't have a lot of faith left in me. Darn it I don't sound like Minty JL - LOL

Well I cleared my CEL (PO300) and filled up 93 quality and everything has been running smooth.......maybe it was an early Halloween prank on behalf of Jeep.

Well I'm adjusting or still adapting to the weak 3.6................going from driving a built Tahoe that has 400ftlbs at about 3500rpm is a wee bit different. As a wild note, there is less then a 50lb weight difference between the JT and my Tahoe PPV; last time I took it to the scales it was 5002 with 1/4 tank of E85
Yeah I bought a pos Mojave too..

Day 20 at 'C' status... I honestly thought it'd be scheduled by now ('23 JTR, Hydro Blue, 6spd).

My whining is paying off. The dealer said it is going into 'upfit' and then transit very soon. He told me to look for an update today or Monday. I don't mind waiting if the wait is real and fair but my issue has and always will be that the original arrival date was 10/15 and on 10/15 it was re-posted as 11/17. All I wanted to know was why did the date change. If it was for a specific part then so be it but it appeared to me that every part of what I ordered was being put on vehicles that were ordered and built at least a month after my order confirmed date. I suspect that vehicles that had to wait on a part were put somewhere and the focus was being put on getting new orders out the door and that did not sit well with me. It also didn't hurt that I told them I have a check in hand for them. I guess we will wait and see if this thing starts moving or not. I feel for the others that are in the same boat as me and I hope you don't have to go the same route I did (ex. Start beating on the dealer and Jeep Customer Service). If you do call customer service let them know if your arrival date shifted. That seemed to be the key that unlocked the door that opened up a help ticket. Cheers and good luck.
