A barrel of oil was never a negative $30. If you disagree then please post a reliable source with data

LOL there's no agree/disagree. There are facts and... not facts.

Despite what your feelings say, as evidenced by the post above with the data, your feelings are... not facts.

There are oil charts and news stories all over the internet that you could have referenced if you actually cared about what the truth was. But it's clear how you arrived at your conclusion.

People think gas is tied 1 to 1 with oil prices........... it's not. That's only one factor.

There's still supply and demand, facilities may be shut down for service, seasonal changes due to the winter blends, transportation costs.......
I've seen oil go up and gas prices stay stable or even drop a little bit.
Yeah, you're right. Just strange. We're still cheap in NM.

I'm sure you "do your own research". I mean, believe it or don't. Or just look at the link that was already posted. No skin off my taint. If your feelings get in the way of facts because some random on the internet didn't repost a link, that's your feelings.

I track commodities as a past time. I never seen a barrel of oil go to -$30 a barrel. At that price. They couldn't give it away fast enough. The only time I've seen energy prices go negative is in power generation. Late at night. A sudden drop in demand and generation can't reduce power fast enough. This will never be notice by the customer. Just the control room operator.

I'm perfectly fine with facts. You just have to show them to us!

Interesting, I didn't realize they temporarily hit negative numbers. However, that was a short term occurrence due to the pandemic because in April 2020 the world economy hit the brakes. Traders were worried about where to store all that oil that was being pumped and shipped.
