So I went to Rausch creek yesterday and I did the badge of honor trails and some various greens and blues getting from one trail to the next. It was a blast! Truck performed great and I was super impressed with the k02s. Couple tight spots, but made it through with out any crazy trail damage. Just some scuffs on control arms and diff skids. However, once when I was on crawl daddy and once when I was on crawler ridge the jeep just cut off. Like it just stalled and I had to put it in park and just restart it. Both times were when the tires were spinning and not getting much grip and it was a bit of an incline but nothing crazy. Is there software in these that can cause this to happen? I don’t feel like I was awful on the throttle and doing anything crazy when I shouldn’t have. I was not pedal to the floor by any means lol. I could have sworn that a certain YouTube channel had the same type of issues when the jl first came out. Way uhhhhh life. Anyone experience anything like this before?

I don't think theirs stalled, the computer cut all of the power and they rolled backwards off the ledge. When they turned off the nanny stuff it stopped doing it.
Were you in 4low? Manually controlling the gears?

I was in 4 low. Not manually shifting the gears. Lossed power. Had to put it in park and restart it.

Did you turn traction control off?

I've had other vehicles that cut throttle when wheel spin is deemed excessive by the computer.

That I can’t remember, doesn’t it automatically turn off traction control when you put it in 4 low or disengage the steering stabilizer. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Just ran out to confirm, turns it off when in 4 low. By Stall, you mean the engine turned off right? Not what others mentioned where it "cuts power" back to idle?

Yes engine turned off, had to put it in park and push the ignition. Came in the screen to put vehicle back into park. No lights or anything. Figured it was the computer. Unless I missed something and it just cut power. But I put it in park and restarted it.

How was oil pressure, that could also do it depending on the angle of the climb

I couldn’t tell yah, in the heat of things, I literally just put in park, started it or I could even say thought I started it. And threw it back in drive. I gotta get the go pro footage from my buddy hopefully tonight. Ppl saying loss of power or stalling is making me second guess myself and that was my reaction. But I know for a fact it said shift into park before back into drive.
