Yeah I’ll use jscan when I get home from work to check it out. And those were the only two hiccups. Jeep drove like butter the entire day.410 and in low , Hmm ? do you have possibility to scan the Jeep see if anything pops up , even if you don't have engine light it may show intermediate faults.
Ok , definitely scan it and see if anything shows up ..could have been anything , check oil level too , low oil level may trigger low pressureYeah I’ll use jscan when I get home from work to check it out. And those were the only two hiccups. Jeep drove like butter the entire day.
That’s exactly what it sounds like. I want new gears. Just saving to do everything up at one time. Gears, rcvs, and I have artec truss and c gussets in my basement.I had my auto stall with 37s and 4.10s in 4 low. I was trying to crawl over a big pit filled with chunks of cinder blocks and rocks and I let off the gas it rolled back slightly and I hit the brakes which stalled it. Had to do the same as you did to get it restarted. Upgrades to 5.13s now it will idle over everything lol.
Gears are the best thing I ever had done to the jeep. That’s exactly what it sounds like. I want new gears. Just saving to do everything up at one time. Gears, rcvs, and I have artec truss and c gussets in my basement.
Yup, the tranny wasn't ready for the rock back, didn't disengage fast enough and the engine stalled@ExiWolfman I have yet to get out and check jscan, but my buddy did send me the vid of where it happened. It def stalled. And it wasn’t anything crazy. I wasn’t hard on the throttle. I’m def thinking the gears like @bleda2002 said. Tires were spinning a bit. I was not using my lockers either.
Well looks like I’ll be saving for gears haha. Now gonna have to decide between 4.88s and 5.13s. No towing for me so I’m wondering if 4.88s might be better. The other time it happened was a very similar situation as well. I do not have that footage yet.Yup, the tranny wasn't ready for the rock back, didn't disengage fast enough and the engine stalled
5.13s or bust! More seriously, I've never heard someone regret 5.13s on this or the jl forum but I've heard people regret 4.88s as not deep enough. That and the fact that there is not a real difference in pinion size between 4.88 and 5.13 were the main deciding factors for both me and my buddy and we're both ecstatic with our 5.13sWell looks like I’ll be saving for gears haha. Hmmm sounds good, what company did you end up going with. I went with Yukon on my old tj, but I have seen a good amount of ppl go with spicer on here.5.13s or bust! I went spicer, at the time I was able to get the set fairly easily and it's the preferred company by the guy I used. If I couldn't have sourced spicer then his back up brand is revolution gears.Hmmm sounds good, what company did you end up going with. Was offroad+ engaged by chance? I'm curious if the programming manipulates the lockup.Yup, the tranny wasn't ready for the rock back, didn't disengage fast enough and the engine stalled
