@Northridge4x4 any more info on this compressor? Seems like a direct ARB clone, but no real info on who makes it, if it’s up to ARB quality, anything else. Intriguing though as a cheaper option.

Anyone else know about this?

Biggest hassle is mounting. Everyone makes mounts for the ARB will this work? I was gifted a Viair industrial compressor so I am looking for a way to mount it. Maximus 3 makes a setup but I don't trust the unit being under the gladiator.

Yeah I’ve heard of Overland Systems before, and seen some of their RTT and cargo management stuff. Curious that that are in the compressor game now, which is why I wonder if these are made in-house, a clone of ARB from the same factory without the brand name, or a cheaply made knockoff.

I’m guessing it was made with the ARB twin mounting pattern in mind, it looks like it would match up with a universal ARB bracket. If not a direct match, it would be relatively easy to drill some holes in the bracket to fit this new compressor.

As mentioned above, the compressor are from Up/Down Air which is part of Overland Systems.

The bolt pattern shares three of the bolt hole locations with ARB bolt pattern. So they claim it will fit with most compressor mounts for ARBs, but you only have three bolts instead of 4. Which should be fine.

These definitely look like an ARB style compressor, but the big difference we see is they look like two of the single compressors reversed and staggered for clearance. Not the co-joined head/manifold and cooling fan the ARB Twin has, which gives the compressor a 100% duty-cycle. ARB says to run it until you are finished.

They had no performance stats to offer. So we don't know what the duty cycle is or the CFM at 0 and loaded PSI, so we can't compare the two.

We'd like to get our hands on one to put it through a test and review process. Will let you all know if that happens.

Thanks for all that info - seems what I expected, a new product that no one really knows anything about. I’d love to see some tests on it and in sure the rest of the forum would too.

There is some chat going on over at jlwrangler forums about pretty much the same things.

One person did have a brochure with specs on the compressor:
6.16 CFM @ 0psi
4.68 CFM @ 29psi
Current Draw - no load - 28A
100% Duty cycle

On paper it looks pretty good. Makes us want to test and review one now even more.
