After 2 software updates to "fix" the clutch overheating/exploding issue in 2020 and 2021. My clutch died last year, with 52,000kms in it due to "excessive slippage and overheating" the exact wording used in the recalls....

They didn't warranty it. Is this newest recall explicitly stating it's the clutch my moment to get reimbursed for putting a center force in?!

Only time will tell! Stay tuned on life with a modern manual transmission ?

Should they? Absolutely.

Will they? Well as my mother used to say: "shit in one hand and wish in the other. See which one fills up first"

The whole reason this recall has been stretched out this long is because they're trying to handle it the cheapest way possible. That doesn't include letting you swap in SEM parts of your choice if they can in any way help it.

Very true! Well see I guess. The center force was only like 300/400$ more. So not a huge difference for one Customer.... But for how many of us manuals there are who knows!

I'd they'd at least pay the labour back (which was quoted and done at a dealer) that would be beautiful. Because it was the same cost labour wise for either option
