My wife has been a Grand Cherokee person for decades - since the originals (ZJ) and every version since. In 2020 she wanted to update before the L was introduced as some of the auto rags said that the whole platform was going to change and the Grand Cherokee was getting longer and all kinds of other stuff. I told her - she could get any Jeep, Wrangler, Grand Cherokee or whatever. She insisted only Grand Cherokee. She even asked about having a new one painted purple. Man, you don't want to know what THAT would cost.

Since buying this purple Jeep for her, we've driven a lot of place and miles, including a trip to FL and back, driving around FL while down there and this whole time, roughly 3 months, we have seen just 1 other reign Wrangler in the wild - one of the hundreds of Wranglers we've seen. The only other one I know of is that Sahara the dealer has on their lot. I'm frankly surprised it's still there.

Too bad the fact it's a Rubicon will be wasted with us, especially her, but it's all we could find.
I'm happy with the 4xe and the 2.0 is a decent engine. 2 years ago, you'd have never gotten me to have any type of electric in my garage.

This is the only purple JLU I've seen. I bought it for my grand daughters, but they aren't interested. The JT is a Rubicon that I swapped wheels with a Gator colored Overland to match my Gator JT with Rubicon take offs.

So................The JT8 is now 99% complete. Obviously, it's Jeep, so it will never be "complete" but here she is. My semi replica to match my Gladiator!!

I'm sure they don't exist - as far as toy makers are concerned, the only "Eagle" was the wagon. I've never seen a Kamback, SX4 or sedan Eagle toy.

That being said - if anyone sees a toy like this - please grab it, let me know the cost and shipping. No need to discuss price first.

That's the 1980 Eagle wagon.
Although the Eagle wagon was made 1980 through 1988 model year, the 1980 was a 1 year only style before they integrated the bumpers into the fender flares.
Looking for the 3 year only SX4 hatchback. (81-83)

Maybe it's the packaging, but the roof line on the Matchbox version looks too short for the wagon .......
This was a rare 1980 Limited I had but sold a few years back to a guy to did a full restoration on it. I just had too many projects.
I gave him a couple grand worth of rare NOS parts, factory receiver hitch with the paper tags still on it, power mirrors still in the boxes, spare transmission, spare transfer case, NOS tail lights, NOS grill.
