Anybody going to 508 international Sunday, 6/18?

I'm going out around lunchtime, with a good friend who's never gone wheeling riding shotgun. If you see the Hydro Blue JTR with a PTWN sticker and a knockoff Yakima rack, come say hi.

Well, that was different. I went out to 508 for the first time back in May, and there were probably 1500+ Jeeps there. Half the trails were bumper to bumper through the woods. This time, there were like... maybe 20 Jeeps overall?

Good times, no waiting for obstacles. Unfortunately, we discovered that my friend who was riding with me gets pretty car sick while wheeling. We solved that by sending him out to get pics and video any time he started to get queasy, which was a win-win.

I may head out to 508 around lunchtime this Sunday. Figured I'd resurrect this old thread to see if anyone would be around.

Thanks for bringing this back up. I never heard of it before. I live in 617 and I am looking for some new places to ride.

Did a google search and it seems like a cool place to check out.

I've only been there a couple of times, and I've only done the first couple of trails each time. The trails are increasingly challenging, and I started to worry about body damage after the first two. Wheelbase is not your friend, so you end up backing and filling around trees a lot. The first time I was there, they were letting Jeeps drive the motocross track, which was pretty cool. It's not the best place I've ever wheeled, but it's probably the best legal spot within an hour of Boston.

Side note, just realized you're the whale stench guy! LOL. I remember reading that and laughing my ass off. I'm assuming the smell is gone by now?

Lol, that thread is probably as close as I'll ever come to being famous. It took a couple of weeks, and a lot of elbow grease and fresh air, but I eventually got the stank out. For a minute, I was worried I would have to scrap it.
