Wide versus pizza cutter - interesting YouTube video

Watched this video - 3 scientific experiments to settle this - wide versus narrow off - road tires.

The above video is exactly why I run 255/85R17 (35x10x17) in the winter and 35x10.5x17 in the not winter time.

He does mention not having 12.5” wide on his daily…

It was a great thread. Made some really interesting observations that don’t fit what seems obvious. However, the best line was "Never skip leg day!!” In other words, pizza cutters may perform well but how do they look? Wide tires look better to me. With a locking rear diff, I am not airing down on sand unless I plan to be miles from someone else anyway. (BTW, the thread on locking the rear diff in 4H was great—shiFt 4H, press OffRoad+, hold traction control down for 5 seconds, lock rear axle. I am not sure why Jeep makes us jump through hoops or get a Tazer to do these things)
