It already has black tires, black rock rails, black windows, black bumpers etc...what more "contrast" is needed?Terrible...dang
Great looking JTM!Technically, I don't have it in my hands yet, but got some pics of the JT from Gupton today. We head down from OH to TN to pick it up on Tues 10/17. I can't say enough good things about the dealer experience with Gupton so far. So glad I found out about them on this forum!

I’ve been borderline stalking a very specific Gladiator Mojave that a local dealer has been listing as “being built” and “in transit” over the past month or so. Here’s the window sticker:

My wife and I bought our first Jeep 4 years ago, a hard loaded (leather, steel bumpers, led, aux switches, etc.) 2019 JLUR in Billet Silver that we bought off the lot in December of that year. We have loved it so much that when it came time for a mid-size truck we knew we wanted a Gladiator.
The only thing I compromised on in 2019 was the color— I desperately wanted a Punk’n Rubicon JLUR but finding one proved to be a task too tall.
This time around, despite the UAW strike, this one squeaked out of Toledo and found its way to my local dealer. On Friday, we paid a visit to our local CDJR and lo and behold it was there -tucked back in a side lot. Once I saw it I knew it would be ours. It was so new that when the salesman opened the driver’s door it was in “Ship Mode” and could not be started.![]()

This stickered for nearly $63K. I paid 52K for the truck + TTL. It was a great dealership experience and lasted only about 60 minutes from arrival to handshake/sent to finance.
Once I was in finance, the salesman popped in and said “my GM just told me that this is the only Mojave in Punk’n within 500 miles…nice work. We should’ve squeezed you a few thousand more” and laughed jokingly. I knew going in how rare these are but apparently they didnt.
Notably, the build date is Sept. 2023. The UAW sticker is also present.
This is Jeep #3 in the stable. Here’s our family caravan as of this morning:

The last time Punk'n was available, it was open for about 6 months, and it just had a low take-up rate. It was available for a long time and it just was not popular, it's a funny thought charging more for it, I guess time and true scarcity will do that.Once I was in finance, the salesman popped in and said “my GM just told me that this is the only Mojave in Punk’n within 500 miles…nice work. Sorry to have taken so long to reply, as I've been trying to get a video put together and I've just had some significant distractions get in my way. So, if it's not too late, I hope you all enjoy what is surely just my first installment with this Punk ...'n!Tell us more about how it’s configured! Looks very nice And would like more pics! built my exterior the same way with the black fenders and black roof, I like the contrast to break up the orange a bit. I wanted to avoid issues down the road so i know taking off the roof over time will cause issues with paint. Fenders are even more likely (for my use) to get beat up on trees and rocks while trailing based off my previous Rigs. Not to mention parking lot damage with all the blue hairs down here that fling open their doors with no regard to whats next to them! This pic really makes me excited to hopefully get mine soon!
Seems as if the video was deleted?Sorry to have taken so long to reply, as I've been trying to get a video put together and I've just had some significant distractions get in my way. So, if it's not too late, I hope you all enjoy what is surely just my first installment with this Punk ...'n!
Note, I had intended on keeping this video footage primarily focused on the color and just a bit of discussion around how it was optioned and why. So, it may seem that I skipped over a few things, but if I didn't, my videos would be way too long. So, my goal is to shoot for 5 - 10 minutes a video and attempt to link related content within a series. Besides, I have a few other Mojave feature based videos already posted, so I'd like to try to add a fresh perspective anytime I talk about something I've already done; and that's harder then it sounds. However, I do plan on posting another feature specific follow up of this Punk'n as soon as I get all that figured out. I also have a few other things I'm working on. So, stay tuned as I hope to keep them fun and informative.
Still, I am a good bit clunky trying to produce these videos as I never realized how uneasy this was until I started watching footage of my own stutters, stammers and gaffes! So, enjoy!
Yeah, sorry about that, I had a temporary oops there. The link is functional now in Standard Def as it is still uploading in High Def at the moment.Seems as if the video was deleted?
Interesting. I thought I had once read or heard that when Punk'n was previously available, it was there and gone in a flash, before many people new about it. However, that may have been Nacho, which is a favorite of mine; so, I may be mixing up past recollections. As well, I can't help but wonder if it's a regional thing in terms of certain parts of the country ordering or receiving more of certain 'charismatic' colors compared to other parts. The last time Punk'n was available, it was open for about 6 months, and it just had a low take-up rate. This is the truth!! I wanted a Punk'n so bad but pretty much came to the conclusion that it just wasn't going to happen and had to go with plan B which for me was Hydro. Then by some stroke of luck, in mid August, I stumbled across on here that Punk'n was available for order again! If I hadn't, it may have just slipped right by me. I thought on things for about a week and then pulled the trigger on an order. From what I can tell, it was available 7/13 through 9/13. Now I just hope everything goes through with my order LOL.Interesting. However, one thing that seems certain, is that Jeep really doesn't seem to do enough to promote limited color runs. If it wasn't for this board or Mopar Insider, I'd (and possibly others on here too) be much more clueless of what was available and when. That seems evidenced by the fact that there are a lot of times that I know what's coming out or going to before any of the local Jeep dealer personnel who I've had experiences with. So, knock-knock Jeep, I'm talking to you. LOL
Congrats on the find and great deal. Now that it’s in my hands I’m ready to join the club…
