Soft top storage

Hello all. New member here. Picking up a new to me 2021 Gladiator tomorrow. Didn't know where to ask this question, so I'll ask here. What do people that have both hard and soft tops do with their soft top in the winter ? More specifically, how do you store the soft top? The JT I'm getting has the soft top in the bed under a tonneau cover. Thanks in advance

When I had both I would fold up the soft top, wrap it in plastic(make sure it’s dry first), tape all seems so no mice get it, store in shed, garage, or basement.

I purchased a JL soft top cover and it is perfect for the JT with the soft top on and folded back or for winter storage.

I have a hardtop hoist in my garage and I just hang the folded top on it after I put the hardtop back on the Jeep. I use some webbing to strap the disassembled frame to the soft top so none of it gets separated. I highly recommend you buy a soft window storage bag, too. It'll keep the window scratch-free and it also holds the rear corner pieces. Finally, I have a small tool bag with all the hardware zipped inside and the bag is hanging off a strap or a part of the frame with a carabiner so none of it gets lost. One more thing: there's a soft top boot that comes with it that is obviously meant to protect it during shipping only. I've been using it for five years to protect the top during storage.
