Anyone interested in doing Pritchett Canyon with me on 3/7/24? I’m seeking experienced wheelers with rigs setup to handle this. Safety gear, winch, 37’s or better, skids, etc. I’ve been ready to do this one for a while, but I won’t do it alone. I will also not be pushing the limit on obstacles. Breakage will be avoided with careful negotiation of the terrain, and I have no pride when it comes to winching. If it’s not working, I’ll winch before using too much throttle. I plan to drive out of there under my own power. So reach out if that day and philosophy works for anyone.

For those that don’t know me, I’m willing to try very difficult obstacles, and love doing so, but not at the expense of injury. Mine is lifted on 37’s with front RCVs, and EVERYTHING skidded, 12k winch, tons of recovery equipment, spare parts, tools to fix most anything, co2, compressor, communication devices, etc.

I'm not able to, but I'm excited for you - that's a bucket list trail.

Me too. I decided at the end of last season it was happening this year.

Sounds like fun. I would have to upgrade some things first. Maybe in a few years?

I don’t think so, but we can on the day, depending on what has snow on it. @Mightytalldude will know better about this on the front range. Everything has snow on it up here.

Still hoping for Pickle Gulch and the trails around there, all depends on if there's snow on the trail.

I have the same wheeling style. I have 2 trips planned this year and will also be trying to get skid plates figured out this year. Hopefully I will get the chance to run some trails in Colorado with you in 2025. Dan when you get a chance can you direct message me the specs of your armor set up. Thanks brother.

did this happen?
Rescheduled. But still happening. My wife had an unexpected health issue (all good now and not life threatening) and I needed to be with her. We’ve rescheduled for Thursday, May 9th. And are planning to do other trails Friday and Saturday, TBD.

Just a FYI, my wife & I were in Moab mid Feb. & noticed a "closed" sign at the trailhead. Maybe it was a seasonal closure or reflecting adverse trail conditions?
