one reason my wife would not like it is exactly the orange badging outside and orange on the hood.
These -

would quickly become silver like on the Overland if it was mine (personal taste, that's all)
It's just too much against that blue .
Same for tailgate.

But some of that is a really easy thing - and that is all personal taste. Some like that, sort of setting it apart, others not.
Some remove the lettering from the sides of the hoods, some don't.

Interiors, you either like the colors or don't, and that's something impossible to change out without major pains - seat covers, some different dash parts.

Hopefully these pics will give better ideas than just the pics you see from dealerships and so on.
if someone wants a Mojave - they'll just have to decide if the interior is enough to make them think Rubicon instead, or right away buy seat covers and recolor the dash, or accept what it is and hope the sun light is at just the right angle most of the time.
There is orange on the hood???? On no. What have I done?

One thing I told my wife - there's enough people "de-badging" Jeeps that there should be a few silver emblems, including the J-E-E-P from the tailgate available for sale.
I figured that going to the plain silver like my Overland has should be pretty simple.
It just doesn't go well with the hydro blue, in her opinion (being a blue-ribbon quilter)

You'll be fine as long as it's not blue and as long as you aren't married to an expert on color combinations (or have a son who is)
If you are, then I guess I can't help any!

With some body colors, it all looks fantastic.

I feel your pain. Color experts in the family, and having orange trim on blue....you poor soul.

Looks good to me! :like:
Works very well on sarge, black, white and the others but looks uncoordinated on blue, imo.
I think it goes very well on the black and sarge green. That deep green really works well with it.
If he doesn't like my opinions on color he doesn't have to read them!

Chin up, stiff upper lip and all that Brit stuff.........
so many people like it that Jeep keeps selling them. (Blue isn't a common color here, but common enough)
The dealership must know what works - it's one they ordered to have something on the lot because the 23s were all but sold out, nothing used, and they needed new JTs to display and sell. They could have ordered any other color, including the less expensive white - but no, they ordered a blue. (odd, my sales guy said HE was the one that ordered it to have on the lot - I always figured someone else did that)
Could be a chick magnet, who knows!
Take it to the beech and be surrounded by wow'd people.

I think the "MOJAVE" lettering on the hood works, but the orange around the J-E-E-P on the back, if I ended up with one that would go. It actually looks too "plastic" to me, just the wrong orange.
(several posts of Mojave owners de-badging or changing colors, even to the point of the tow hooks - search and enjoy their stories)

I did not like the emblems, and the interior combo - and wondered if it was just me, so I asked.

If ya'll love it, cool!

 You never know! LOL

Funny you said the orange on the back looked "plastic". I used the term, 'Mattel" , the toy company, to describe it.

Some will love it, and that's great. My Mojave is Granite, so the orange will probably look good. I personally don't want any "pop" color on mine, but I was a bit tongue-in-cheek when crying about it. ;)

I don't even have my Mojave yet, but already have new hood letters, new GLADIATOR letters for the tailgate to replace the JEEP letters, and some other misc. stuff in a box waiting.

I guess that's why they say these are Lego vehicles...... make it what you want.
I have a feeling it's going to look good with granite.
They have a couple of other Mojaves on the lot and how they "look" really does seem to depend on body color.

Of course, you will be posting pics, right? (hoping so)

Totally agree on the JEEP badging on the tailgate - that just looks "plastic".

"MOJAVE" on the hood looks a lot better on the one in the background, IMO. It's just too popping and out there on the blue ->
