I don’t hate it. How was the seat comfort?
Actually, the seats were comfortable - at least I thought so. More than Grand Cherokee which is recent years had really hard seats, not easy for me to sit in for long periods of time.
I'd have to try again to see how they compare to the stock seats I have currently.

one reason my wife would not like it is exactly the orange badging outside and orange on the hood.
These -

would quickly become silver like on the Overland if it was mine (personal taste, that's all)
It's just too much against that blue .
Same for tailgate.

But some of that is a really easy thing - and that is all personal taste. Some like that, sort of setting it apart, others not.
Some remove the lettering from the sides of the hoods, some don't.

Interiors, you either like the colors or don't, and that's something impossible to change out without major pains - seat covers, some different dash parts.

Hopefully these pics will give better ideas than just the pics you see from dealerships and so on.
if someone wants a Mojave - they'll just have to decide if the interior is enough to make them think Rubicon instead, or right away buy seat covers and recolor the dash, or accept what it is and hope the sun light is at just the right angle most of the time.
The pics are great, thank you for that. I have the Mojave X on order and I'm just waiting. I really didn't know what the "pop" color was going to be, if any. Orange would have been my last choice. Now its my first priority to remove as much of it as possible. Seat covers for sure, to protect the factory seat, and now to hide the orange stitching. I wonder if fabric dye could be applied to dash and door panel stitching. hmm....
There is always something to do to Jeeps. If this is my biggest problem, life is good. :)

With all of the calls to your salesman and now pictures from the dealer’s lot, you’re buying a new Gladiator aren’t you!
Ya got a few thousands dollars to give away?

My wife made some comments this AM that led me to believe - unlikely, and I've kept going over and over in my head all of the hours, days, weeks, even, of changes I've made and how many weeks it would take to undo my current JT and then start all over again putting it into another JT that would be even harder to do because of the shock reservoirs and so on.
It took many hours to do the snow plow electrics, running cable into the cabin, pulling the dash apart to put in a trailer brake controller and extending wiring out to connect the plow controller for a power source, reaching up to the firewall and drilling a grommet, sealing wires, the power steps - holy cow - magnet mounting, switch mounting, getting things lined up, wires running over the frame, up through the floor on both sides, tearing out trim to get wiring run behind, wiring back to my 12v and USB outlets back in the bed, swapping the backup lights to another truck - again.
I'd have to pull fender liners to get my snow plow connections out of this truck - and do the same to get things hooked up in a new one. Grill has to be pulled forward, headlights removed to connect wiring.
I told the guy it would take me and someone else who is really good and careful and picky at least a couple of weeks to swap things over.
I also run 5 matching wheels and tires on my JTs - i'd have to buy one of those fancy wheels and another tire. You can bet that would cost a fortune (especially since this one has the thousand dollar wheel "upgrade" although I don't see the "upgrade" part, myself)
So add a tire and wheel, probably 7-800, and a 5th sensor.

There's the front receiver to put in place, the winch to move over, bumper has to come off for winch install and for snow plow bracket installation, figure where to move shock hoses and reservoirs and then would Mojave springs even support a 300# plow out front?? I had to install dual-rate Synergy springs on my Overland - boost the height and hold the weight, both.

I'm not seeing a flat-out no here! LOL!

They can still be added, Bulletpoint already has mounts available and it looks like Jeep made it easy to add them with mounting holes present under the rubber mats present. They offer both driver and passenger side options.

What fun is there in a complete, no mods required vehicle, especially a Jeep? Besides, when you are finished with modding a Jeep, it is time to start over.

Yeah, that's probably one of the primary reasons (besides needing money for the first JT) that I sold my 70 Javelin.
My wife asked what more I was going to do with it, I seemed stalled and it wasn't getting driven much compared to the others.
Darned those logical women.

Problem is - you have to buy the whole mount over again to get the new base - at least that's how it is on their web site.
I don't want to spend another 60+ to get just the plate with ball.
So I've asked - can this be bought independently?

Yes, that is the problem with upgrading things; get a new phone? Now you have to get new case, screen protector, charger, etc. I was just responding that there is an option for mounting to a MY24, but you are correct that now you have to fork over additional $$$ for it. It is not compatible with the MY20-23 mounting option, which does suck.

Death by accessories. At some point I’ll likely switch over to a wireless CarPlay adapter, or just run with an iPad.

I know what you mean. But I have often had vehicles that I could see the way forward on, but ran out of steam. A friend told me that I was an 80 percenter, that when I reached about 80 percent finished on a vehicle I always lost interest and moved on to another one. It seems that even when I knew what I needed to do to finish a car, I found another one that I had greater interest in. So I was always moving on to another project, and if I did reach a point where there wasn't anything else to reasonably do on a vehicle then I was even more ready to get on to another project.

When it is all boiled down, only you know if you are really ready to move on to another Jeep. I know you have been perfecting your Overland for a couple of years, and that is part of the enjoyment of a vehicle. At least, it is for me, and I think you are the same. Otherwise, you wouldn't have felt stalled on your '70 Javelin.
