Years ago. The PA turnpike had signs with the speed and what the fine would be. I believe it stopped at 20 mph over.

I think I remember seeing those. Surprised VA doesn’t do this.

I know of a guy who hit a moose up in Maine. Was leaving one job site and going to another one at 3am. Totaled his Grand Cherokee. He spent 2 months in the hospital. Said he remembers passing a house with a porch light on. About 5 miles down the road is when he hit the moose. Said he had to walk back to the house to get help.

Funny, every time we go to ME my son is all on the lookout for a moose. He’s dying to see one. Me, not so much……LOL. I nearly hit one on the Kancamaugus highway in NH one year. Spun out avoiding the damn thing.
