Curious why the need for new rotors? Do the Mopar ones wear that fast?
I wasn't sure how well the factory rotors would continue to perform. They were fine, but I got a great deal on a full rotor and pad kit so I decided to replace them.

Wheels/tires ordered:

The tires are 34.4 per site.

2024-03-19_12-21-48.webp

Hoping that will be enough of a tire upgrade and visual impact for now until a full 2-2.5" lift can go on later this or next year. Supposed to be delivered Friday (mounted and balanced).

Wheels are -6 offset so hoping they will be fine as-is short term. If not, I have the 1.5" TeraFlex spacers for front and 3/4" Daystar spacers for rear.

Looking forward to it after last nites little blast of winter on those 20" tires... Felt like skates. Would much rather have some more rubber under me. Pics forthcoming after I get them on.

Oh yeah, installed the hood struts too.
Wheels/Tires arrived and installed!

Took it for a quick ride and no rubbing as expected on road, fairly smooth but bigger tires definitively move it around a bit more. Off road, probably gonna need at least the 1.5 TeraFlew Spacers and 3/4" rear Daystar kit short term. Once it warms up here, I'll throw those on and compare. Will add 2-3" full lift eventually (next year most likely).

Front clearance is 4.5" and rear is 5.5". I checked it with OEM wheels and it was about 2" more but didnt write it down. :(

Gonna need the Extreme Recon Fender Flares to help cover the poke (-6 offset) and I saw a couple threads on using two sets of Fronts to get better coverage and look in the rear, which I also plan to do. Just need to gather up the flares, rivet gun and rivets first. Grabbed a set of Husky liner mud-flaps to see if those will work too vs more expensive options. We'll see how that goes after Recon Flares get mounted.

Anyway, it looks like a Jeep now.

Compare pic:

If you are putting on spacer pucks may not need to mod fenders. I have a 3.5 lift and 37s...haven't rubbed fenders at full flex.

Replaced both batteries. Upgraded to a yellow top for the main, and used a standard aux14 for the aux. I have enough accessories and do enough winching that I wanted a main that would tolerate drain better. But no complaints. I got over 50k on the first set of batteries. I also cleaned up and rerouted some wiring while I had good access.

Yes, the TeraFlex 1.5" kit is a spacer (2 actually - one is 1" and the other is .50". The rear is also similar style but is mounted under the rear spring vs on top like the front. For now its riding fine, will put those on when I plan to go off road and then next year, actual lift kit with more extensive components will be added.

Hey that’s the same bumper I have sitting around lol. How was the install?
Install was very easy. Trying to get the factory fog light wires was a pain. Had to disassemble the factory bumper to get to all the little clips holding the harness in. After that everything went smooth.

My first grill wrap failed and started peeling after a year. Finally found another company that made a better looking one. I took it to a professional wrap installation place as I knew with my patience, it would have been bad. Glad I did as the owner of the shop wrestled with it for two hours. He spent another 30 minutes trimming it which really confirmed why I didn’t attempt the install. Super happy with the final look,

The grille looks like an absolute nightmare to wrap

Well you are right! I arrived at the wrap shop at 10 in the morning and left at 2:30. He had to keep walking away to get away from it. He said he had never worked with a wrap with no much adhesive. Thankfully, he only charged me for two hours. The first one he installed over a year ago took him maybe 15-20 minutes.

Well, technically it was yesterday, but installed the teraflex 1.5 lift.

Kinda wish I had just done the 1". I will be adding a winch, so I guess no big deal.
Added the wheels, tires, and step rails a week ago. I've owned it for less than 3 weeks, lol.
