I hear you. Nice job getting rid of the taps. They last for a while, but seldom forever. I had to remove my driver side to replace the aux battery last week. I bought 24 more clips in advance as I only had a few left from the last time. I only saved three this time, so I was happy to have them.Ah I see now, I think. Looks like you have the handles further towards the back of the truck on the back doors if I'm seeing things correctly. I'm assuming they normally go one more bolt location forward towards the front of the truck. Makes sense now, I appreciate the generous offer on the washers but I don't have any little ones around anymore unless the grandkids are in town and 3 of them are under 2 so no issues with them trying to get in by themselves.....yet.
BTW had to pull both front fenders off again. One of the fender lights had an issue so they sent me a new one. I ended up ordering a wiring harness for plug n play that had a 3 light option coming off of the harness so I ended up removing the taps and sealing the wires where they were attached. I ordered more clips since the first time most of them broke. Thought that it was funny that I had 5 clips left over from the first removal so I ordered 20 more and this time only 1 clip broke on one side and 3 clips broke on the other. At least I have plenty left over for next time lol.
