If only @ORACLE Terry could get them to put that dark smoke in the bumper lights. I like the idea/function of adding lights. Will possibly add some cube lights or something, black out around it with a bracket.
I have passed that along. I wonder if in the meantime, you could add a tint to the light to get the desired look? Make sure to check with local regulations for the tinted or smoked look.

I appreciate you passing it along. I would be all over buying a set if it was offered with a smoked lense inside the light or a complete light. No regulations here limiting smoked or tinted lights or reflectors here, not to mention 90% of aftermarket items sold for most Jeeps are listed as "off-road use only", so it would just be nice if Oracle can offer a dark version.

Yesterday, I put a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3s 315/70/17 on my Gladiator. Haven't driven too far on them yet but think I will like them alot.

My wife has a 2018 Wrangler Sahara so she got a new set of Fuel Stroke 17" wheels and we put the BFG KO2s that had been on my Gladiator on her Wrangler. She also got a 2.0" spacer lift.

Today we cleaned both of the Jeeps up. They will be covered in pollen already tomorrow but they both really needed a wash.

Just wondering why in the world you'd take a great looking JT and screw that big ol booger to the center of the front bumper? ?

I ended up with a FLIR Photon camera module out of an old security camera. So, I 3D printed a housing from ASA and TPU then ran it to a small backup camera display on the dash. It's not a high resolution module but it does help to see things through fog, smoke and on the roadway that aren't normally visible. I can tell when people's tires are bad too in front of me. The other day a guy had some 43s on a Jeep and there was a consistent hot spot going around as he drove.

I have a Jcan and some RCA cables. I already enabled the cargo input. I'm going to try to plug it into that and see if I can get it to display as a cargo cam input. If so, I'll use a splitter and have both available.

Finally put on the hood scoop and fender Jurassic decals. I had ordered the T-Rex keyhole covers from @Threedom last fall and have a T-Rex chasing the Wrangler Easter egg on the front right of the windshield also. The dino rig is coming together!

Since this light is connected to the reverse lights, I'm not sure it can be labeled as off-road use only. That's why it might have to be 50 state compliant. But I take your point for sure.

Replaced a tired and bent up transfer case skid. Reused the UHMW from the old one. It’s still got life left.

Then replaced the JKS front adjustable track bar with a steersmarts pro. I bought the steersmarts for the adjustment sleeve, but found during removal that the jks bar was just as crappy as all the other jks stuff I’ve removed. Both bushings had failed and the bar was metal on metal on both ends. It took an hour to get the axle side bolt out. I’m elated to have it gone. Its only value now would be as a trail spare on truly nasty trails.

Then replaced the steersmarts sector shaft brace bearing. After 40k miles, it was shot. Steersmarts replaced it under warranty, because that company is amazing.

Centered the axle, straightened the wheel, and test drove it. No noises, and the steering feels great.

On the news today they keep rattling on about a 4.8 magnitude earthquake that was about 30 miles from me this morning. our house shook a little and there was some rumbling, which I thought was from the earthquake. But I just saw these pics and now suspect that all that shaking on the East Coast was really @Lunentucker reacting to the amount of dirt and rust on these parts from under your truck. I’ll bet if anyone can detail them back to life it’s him. ?

I finally got around to installing a set of hood lift struts. But it is done, and given the cost of modern Jeeps the hood lift struts should be factory equipment. I guess Jeeps are the modern day equivalent of the old Fox body Mustangs, a vehicle that is sold 5/8 to 3/4 complete. So you have to turn to the aftermarket to actually bring them up to the level they should be. A lot of mods are just nickel and dime type stuff, but they add up to Just Empty Every Pocket.

Did something to my Gladiator today that I never thought I would have to do. So I rotated my tires yesterday and when the wife and I left to go out on an excursion today, there was a thump thump thump which sounded like it was coming from the right rear. I got out and looked and saw nothing. So I turned around and went back to the house and started investigating. Took a while to figure it out but I discovered that the weights on the inside of the wheel that they used to balance the tires from the factory were hitting the caliper as the wheel spun. Apparently the gap between the caliper and inside of the wheel are different between the front and rear. I tried to file where it was rubbing but it was taking too long so I just pulled the weights off, mounted the tire, then off we went. No issues. When I got home I replaced the weights by using double sided tape and aligned them in the same area but moved them slightly further to the inside to prevent them from rubbing. Strangest thing I've ever come across. And what the hell is up with Jeeps? I have never owned a vehicle where when the transmission is in neutral and I have a rear tire off the ground, that I couldn't spin the tire in the air by hand. It was acting like it was in park. Made figuring out the problem much more difficult. Is there a secret that I'm unaware of?

Replaced my 48 battery with a 94R. Originally was going to wait and get one of the genesis kits but my aux battery failed and ended up taking the main with it. Dealer replaced the Aux but wouldn't replace the main which wouldn't hold a charge overnight. It kept dipping down to 12v overnight but apparently that doesn't matter to the dealer. Looking at this picture though makes me really want to detail the engine bay lol.
