You sure they were Truetracs? Mine locks up instantly.
Yea 100% sure. And in fairness one of the the trucks that had constant issues was heavily abused and went through numerous shafts and even housings before a truss was added.

If I regear, I will be doing truetracs front and back. I have the same setup on my YJ and it climbs anything as long as you are not rock crawling where one tire is in the air. If that happens I just modulate the brakes to make it lock. On a JT with the brake lock feature I'm sure it would enhance the truetrac as it will apply the brakes to the spinning tire. I prefer limited slip because I live in the mountains and it snows plus I have a 1/4 mile gravel driveway and it get slippery in heavy rain or snow since I have a big hill in my property.

I traded the Willys for a Rubicon. No more plans on installing Truetracs since it has lockers. I'm concentrating on doing a small lift, wheels and 35s.
