Road trip to Death Valley and Eastern Sierras

Rosie and I completed a 3,000-mile road trip through WA, OR, NV and CA.

The original plan was to spend 3-4 days camping in Death Valley. However, upon getting there we found that many of the trails we planned to do were closed due to rain damage from last winter. Instead, we spent a couple of nights near Bishop.

The Eastern Sierras turned out to be the gem of this trip.

Me too. I have gravitated towards the Eastern Sierras for years; since I lived in Los Angeles.

California Sierras offer the perfect combo of stunning scenery, ruggedness, relative remoteness and accessibility. The Pacific Northwest, by contrast, offers lots of beautiful scenery and remoteness but, sadly, most of it is inaccessible.

Outstanding Photography. This has nothing to do with Jeeps but just wondering what photography equipment you use. To me it appears to be more than just a phone.
