What are you in the mood for? Closest to you, and also a Jeep badge Trail, in Pinyon Canyon with the squeeze. The easier trails you'll find will be in Anza Borrego national Park, including truckhaven. Next up is the Big Bear trails: Dishpan, Holcomb Creek, Gold Mountain, John bull, Mottino Wash, etc. The big boy stuff is going to be Johnson Valley, home of King of the Hammers. There the easier trails are Big Johnson and Claw Hammer, stepping up to the real hammers trails. While a gladiator did finish KOH once, it wasn't pretty.

8th gear, stock tire size of 32.8 on 4.10s you are running 89 mph at 2500 rpm. More likely you are in 7th or even 6th at that speed of there is any kind of head wind or even the slightest incline so you'll be running even higher.

32.8/4.10 = 35/4.56 = 37/4.88 so 5.13 is literally just 1 step farther
I know math is hard, but 33/4.10=37/4.59 so no 5.13s isn't even close to 1 step farther. 4.88s is 1 step farther and more than enough to make up for reduced aero and increased rotational mass.

Thanks for your input.

My stock tires are 245/75 R 17 which converts to 31.5. 31.5/4.10 = 36.5/4.75. If my math is correct.
Most 37s I've found are 36.5

Jeep puts 4.56 with 35s in the recon package in JLs

Math isn't hard but not making a bunch of rounding errors apparently is.

Rounding errors? You literally wrote 32.8/4.10=37/4.88? It doesn't period and 37s aren't 37". 4.56s and 35s on our stock JLUR with xr package felt over geared on the freeway. Jeep also puts 32s with 3.45s in the non-rubicon JLs. That works out to 37s/4.0, ie 4.10s and 37s lines right up with a stock sport or sahara JL. The fact is the 8 speed is so good and has such a broad range of gears there really isn't a right or wrong answer. A JK with the auto would need 5.38 gears just to match the crawl ratio of a stock JLUR/JT with 4.10s... and most only ran 5.13s with 37s as they didn't have double overdrive. Conversely our 2nd overdrive is like a JK running 4.10 gears when you're running those deep 5.13s. Almost any gearing and tire combo will drive as good as a JK on 1 end and massively better on the other. I tend to drive fast so I lean towards the higher side.
