Hey, I am new to the jeep world and this is my first Gladiator. I have the sport s with max tow. Looking to lift it with the rough country 2.5” lift and also add 37” tires. Does anybody have this setup? Also for wheels what offset?
Thanks

I would go with the 3.5" Rough Country kit. I don't think you will have enough clearance with 2.5" on stock fenders for any type of off roading. I went with the 3.5" RC spring and shock kit with the adjustable front track bar they throw in. Also the max two springs you already have might be stiffer then the rough country. I have a sport without max tow so it wasn't an issue for me.

Thank you, I what shocks did you go with on the 3.5” and I’m not to conserved about loosing the max tow springs only went with that for the wider axles and 4.10 gearing. Are you running 37@ tires?

Max Tow, 37" Pats, 2.5" front, .75" rear. I'm currently not off-roading till spring, after I do my fender chop. Full articulation, disconnected, is not possible until after the chop. So, if you are building a pavement princess, I can tell you it's doable. Mine is a budget build that I also did not want to replace tons of suspension stuff.

I know I'm digging up an old thread, but did you do the chop and how did that work out? I'm thinking of running like this for a while if I can wheel disconnected.

I did do the chop years ago, and still running that setup. 2 piece flares are more like a fender split, easy. With the chop, I'm able to disco and get full articulation on all obstacles.

Lift height doesn't determine tire clearance, bump stops do. My mojave only has a 2" lift and the 37s don't rub even with the sway bar disconnected (yes the mojave has more fender clearance than a sport). The 2" bump stop extensions keep the tires from rubbing even if you pulled the springs out. That is the proper way to set up your suspension. With enough bump stop you could get away with 2.5" and 37s even on a sport, but you'd want to modify or swap fenders to maintain uptravel.
