So yeah. It’s “guaranteed fit from @RealTruck
It ain’t lining up and their tech support went home😬

looks like I need to cut to get the supports to fit(I can and will if needed)
However
How the f does it attach to the rails?
(I do not have off road rails)
I’m assuming some sort of clamp system?

I will offer my phone number in pm if someone is familiar and wants to chat a few mins on this.

I got it figured out thanks to another post on here.
good god the instructions are complete crap.
it’s as if the mounting bracket just magically attaches to the bed.
lmao there’s literally zero directions about how to attach that to the bed. Just instructions as to how to assemble the roll bar.
omfg. I’ll post more about this tomorrow

Big thanks to @KillerB87 for these pics.

Glad you got it figured out. Yes the directions were almost useless. Did you have to cut the fwd drivers-side to clear the gas filler tube?

I put it in at a slight angle. I’ll trim it later. It was already getting dark and I was beyond frustrated.
you have any weatherstrip recommendations to fill the gaps ? I have the rough county trifold. And there are ALOT of gaps. I keep stuff in the bed so keeping water out is a must
I’m considering just using this

🔥important note to anyone installing the way killerb87 and I have. Be prepared to drill new holes on the front hold down brackets for the tonneau. The bolt that goes through the cover won’t line up properly. It’s simple, just use a big bit the size of the bolt. 🔥

Big rainstorm here next couple days so the bar won’t be going on, just the brackets for now. I will post pics when it’s all done.

I have been looking for something like this. I have 3/4” gap on the front edge to the weather strip that came with cover. The problem with this particular one, is that they only sell large quantity and it’s expensive. Right now everything in the bed is in a sealed bin.

how much is it? Maybe we can split a roll?
I did see stuff like that on Amazon made out of rubber.

got the bars on today. Only complaint is I wish it was closer to the cab. Can’t be helped with where the tonneau lines up and the bolts in the front. Overall I’m happy.

Looks good. I had to slide my Classic all the way to the front so I could get 2 sections of the cover to open.

how did you slide it? I can get the second fold up but it wont flip over. I'd like the bar much better if i could slide it up 2"
I'd think loosening the clamps for the tonneau, and the roll bar it might slide. then adjust the mount for the tonneau is where i get stuck. the hole is in a fixed spot, that's where im stuck. only thing i can think is filling the hole, sealing it and making a new hole.

When I was pre-fitting the cover, I discovered that I needed to move the bar. I did it before I drilled the holes for the fwd brackets.

honestly I was hoping it'd be tighter to the cab. So when's a matching steel bumper n winch, possible lift too?

Bumper coming soon. Winch, when I’m ready to hit some trails. Only had it 6 months and just now hit 6k. I’m not ready to break stuff yet lol. I will 100% be at the point I can feel protected when I do though.
lift is a ways off. I’m waiting til my tires run down so I can just get 35’s at the same time as the lift.

I did get the windows tinted with 20% ceramic today though 😂
