Sold: Pennsylvania Leer 100XQ cap, $1900, obo.

Leer XQ cap is coming off of my lease return. Just priced it out and with all the options new is over $4000.

In the Wilkes Barre PA area, and it's local pickup only.

Details.
-Has pop out side windows with screens.
-Removable front glass
-Carpet headliner.
-Roof rails with Thule racks
-lockable liftgate, with 2 keys

Issues:
-has a lot of clear silicone around the roofracks because I suspected there was a leak, but was actually the seal between the bed and tailgate.
-the struts could probably use replacement, Leer dealer says they only last a couple of years and are cheap, they still hold the gate up, but need to be pushed up for the last couple inches
-I don't have the keys to the Thule crossbars, but they're unlocked so you could either find the key number or just replace the cores, or just keep using them unlocked like I have
-there are a lot of stickers on the outside glass and I don't have the heart to remove them. A razor blade will make short work of them.

I was looking into that cap. Did it cause your trucks rear-end to drop? (Eliminate the rake?)

It did, I would say it didn't get rid of it entirely, so it wasnt truly level. BUT, I installed the Firestone air bags eventually because I towed quite a bit and hauled pellets for my heating often. Now I can adjust the rake as needed.

Too far to buy, but that one looks like a pretty decent match to the factory hard top. How similar is the texture, closer up?

Texture is a good match. The color usually is a good match when both are clean, but they collect dirt a little differently and I do notice that when dirty/scummy they can be a little off.

This is the best info I was able to find. Pulled from here. Says 300lb dynamic load.

But for the Thule tracker II racks, it says 165 is the dynamic max load. The leer site also says 450 static load for the 100xq. I have to say there's no one good source for info. Sorry.
