"Due to the rising costs of repairs, FCA has announced that all Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan pricing will be substantially increased. This is an across the board increase on every plan. There is no better time than now to get coverage at the lowest price possible. We will honor the current pricing until July 31st."

Ahh classic Jeep. raises prices, service stays the same.
If anyone is on the fence in regard to purchasing an extended warranty, this is the time to do it. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a good 70% increase.

But yes, don't expect dealer service or warranty denials to improve, lol.

Mopar also raised the price of a 3.0L EcoDiesel crate engine from $8,400 to $18,000. That's more than double! Things are getting expensive over there at Mopar!

Where was this quoted from? I'm trying to get a quote from Granger, but they don't list Florida as an option anymore, even though my wife just bought hers 3 weeks ago from them. It's strange.

I had it posted, but it was removed. It was a quote that came from a highly regarded and well known Mopar Service Contract Manager. When I posted, it was breaking news straight from Mopar, but since then, he said Mopar is now telling him the price increase will be 3%.

California also. As recently as last Wednesday I was able to request a quote. got an email thanking me and said they would be in touch. Crickets. Now Cali is off the list.

CDJR dealers suck. Stellantis jacks up prices and plays fast and loose with warranties. Sales are spirialing down; Hyundai-Kia overtook Stellantis in N.A., with Honda closing in. Management blames everyone and everything but their own incompetence.

My Gladiator is 7 months old and, so far, it has been completely trouble free. But the at the first sign of trouble, I am getting rid of the truck and going to the competition.

I am done with Stellantis.

So, you're going to sell your Gladiator for a Hyundai-Kia? ;)

No.

But I wouldn't scoff at the Koreans.

Stellantis is driving Jeep, and Ram, and Dodge, into the ground.

I agree that Stellantis could and should be doing better, but they are far from driving those 3 brands into the ground. You didn't mention Chrysler, but that's the brand I'm most worried about.

Chrysler is on life support; Dodge is a shell of its former self.

Ram has lost a lot of luster. GMC Sierra, the perennial distant 4th in pickup sales, may overtake Ram pickup by end of year.

Hyundai-Kia overtook Stellantis in N.A. in the first half of this year, pushing it to 5th spot. Now American Honda is poised to push Stellantis into 6th spot by end of year.

I agree with this. It seems like Stellantis has a bizarre business model of constantly raising prices on mostly unreliable vehicles, and to top it off, then offer up horrible customer service (see warranty discussions, or lemon law cases on here). FCA/Stellantis tried to take advantage of the covid supply chain issues to rip off their customer, and now are paying the price with poor sales.
I have a Ecodiesel and I think when the warranty is up, I'll be done with them as well. If the engine fails, the vehicle isn't even worth the $20k for a new engine. It's sad because I enjoy both the vehicle and the engine, but the long term outlook isn't good.

If you dislike FCA so much, why did you buy a Gladiator in the first place?

I bought my 2023 Jeep Gladiator for $15,000 off MSRP. I'm planning to keep it for the next 20+ years! Hyundai-Kia or GMC isn't going to impact my decision to own a vehicle that I really like and enjoy. It sounds like you two are bitter for no reason other than what you've read on the internet?
