Ive had my 2023 Mojave since April I like it very much but, headlights are definitely something that needs to be addressed. My wife drives a 2024 Hyundai Sante fe with LED and they have great coverage and throw in both low and high beam. My prior truck was a 2018 Tacoma I installed some Morimoto LED's and they were better than the Halogen but still not like a OEM LED headlamp.

I have a few questions. I'm pretty much sold on the OEM LED's but the price seems pretty steep for what you get. They do actually, plug and play since my vehicle is a 2023, has four wires at the plug to the lamps assy each side and I purchased Jscan first week I had the JT.

About the OEM LED's, do they have a shutter like the Diode Dynamics Elite?

Since I don't need everything in the conversion kit can I buy each left and right OEM LED lamp assy's seperate (can save about 100 bucks).

And for anyone that has driven the JT, with OEM LED's and the inexpensive LED bulbs in the halogen housing do they perform close to OEM LED or are they just better than halogen.

Lighting was never a priority for my vehicle lighting. Age has crept in and now I find my night vision slowly, being affected. After driving my wife's car with OEM LED they seem to be the answer. With Christmas right around the corner I hate too drop over grand on the OEM's. I don't need lights that do light shows and other goofy stuff and the fact that a physical shutter can fail also has my concern. Sorry for the questions just gotta get some input. thanks

I started with the halogen, put in LED bulbs in those and then the OEM LED headlight assemblies. There's no comparison. The OEM LED's are really good. I did not get any flickering. I used Jscan to enable the LED.

Gatorac, thanks for the reply, greatly appreciated. I did the painful but useful mining of the forum concerning LED's and have come to the conclusion the OEM are a go. I don't live in snowy or ice environment except maybe once or twice a year so I don't need heated. The Bulbs just aren't designed for halogen housings most are not DOT accepted.

Time to shop find the OEM'S either kit or singles.

Thanks

I want to get some LED headlights for my Gladiator but hate that most of the aftermarket ones have a Halo. I just want them on or off.

Those are nice, but not $1000 nice.
I did find a KC pro6 lightbar for $600 that I'm going to pick up if the guy messages me back. That should light up the sky.

Yeah, the price tag is high. That design looks fairly dated but still pretty nice but maybe not for a grand.
