I'm slow to learn, but I'm learning. I've heard of using Whole Life Insurance to become your own bank, but I suppose velocity banking would have similar characteristics.
I don't know about that one, but am always open to the magic of money manipulation.

Take the money and run.
I agree with this in principle. When free money is on the table, in other words 0% for 36 months, I took OPM (other peoples money) from Stellantis and ran. I picked up a 2024 JT Rubicon X. Traded the 2023, got a decent deal locally, no payment for 90 days, and 0% interest for 3 years. Granted not everyone will qualify for this rate. Also at 36 months, depending on your trade-in value or down payment, the monthly payment could be steep. Making a large cash down payment kind of defeats the purpose of 0% and using OPM, in which case taking the cash may be the better deal with the current offering.

The wife wants a Nighthawk, I think I will hold off until fall, they haven't sold any yet around here. Hopefully they will be heavily discounted.
End of the year is an important time to watch for the very best deals.

Last November and December were the very best deals I've ever seen...on 23's... It was weird. It was like they were using incentives as form of rheostat by zones across the country.

They had 15% off...and on... in zip codes with Dealers matching in a few cases but mostly in the 10% off range, but they would turn on a 15% manufacturer discount one day and mid month move it back to 10% like my zip code. My local dealers weren't close to some deals as here in MT, they were selling them fast, but you had to be willing to like drive 500 miles (which can impact what you get because you don't live in the same sales zone and they have to follow your address).

So, I literally had a deal 500 miles from home in early Nov with 15% off manufacturer and dealer matching for 30% off. I got up on like the 15th of the month and FCA/Stellantis had reduced the incentive to 10% off in my zip code. The dealer's zip code was still 15% off and the matching dealer 15% off. I couldn't believe it mid month when they still had 15% off on the website and it was national for the first week or so... I finally found the small print and sighed.

So, late December 23, comes along and all of a sudden I see 15% off manufacturer incentive AND the dealer still had their 15% off. They had sold the "red" one I wanted but had an identically optioned Granite Crystal still on the lot. I called up they changed the VIN on the previous deal, I did it online and picked it up Dec. 27th with a decent trade in and equity. On Jan 1, the incentives both Dealer and Stellantis/FCA declined significantly for months.

So, I got mine and had been shopping for months willing ONLY to accept an absolute killer deal and I got it. Interest rates sucked, but were supposed to go down earlier this year so I thought I could just refinance. It's only of late they finally gave a bit...

What I discovered, is that there are some big tax incentives for selling by the end of a given year for both dealers and the manufacturers. They basically were putting that into the incentives per my dealer. Those tax incentives disappear after the first of the year...

So, with a vehicle NOT MOVING and the manufacturer trying to calibrate new year production and old year production and what's on the lots and what's in the pipelines and a horrible sales environment for Gladiators they were literally calibrating it all by sales on an almost daily basis and at least weekly in the last 45 to 60 days and that was why they would shut off the incentives or reduce them sharply and there might have been an unseen dealer incentive along with tax advantages going on behind the scenes.

And so, You had to be at the right place at the right time to get absolute killer deals like I got and as a customer, you had to be monitoring it all in almost real time to get it. I was picky also in wanting both the auto 4WD (Selec Trac) AND a limited slip diff (ON THE DEALER"S LOT) and those were few and far between. I was torn at one point with an "Earl" colored Mojavi about 400 miles away, killer deal, with manual transmission but I am too old for manual... I think I put that one in a post here as a heads up and it disappeared within a day or two no more temptations.

In the End, I got all my boxes checked on a Freedom editions including bed liner and LED front light package/auto 4WD, except aux switches. So, I paid 43K and change for a 60,800 MSRP. So, I'd wait for a bit till November/December... Might be deals AND with interest rates finally giving you could score big.

PS edit: To be honest, I preferred the old 8.4 Uconnect and screen but I like that rear locking diff on the Mojavi. This year, I think the best deals are the Willy's with the rear locking diff. AND there are some deals on them. AND, Jeep did reduce pricing slightly on things this year vs 23... I am seeing more Rubicons under 50K than last at this time... All in all you get the best bang for your buck on all round capability on the Willy's is my opinion.

I waited out the pricing until last few days in December last year and got 20k off with no add ons on a loaded rubicon with a sticker over 70k
paid right at 50k plus ttl. In Texas
I think the pricing will drop a bunch late in the year

Thanks. I have to travel a few hours for this one but this seems like a legit deal. If they’re fair on my trade I may go with this or one of the others they have on the lot…
