After a long wait my ProCharger showed up! After searching the internet there was not many detailed write up on it. I will do my best to keep this thread updated with what it took to install, actually running with it and longevity.
2021 Rubicon
28,000 miles.
5.38 gears on 38s
Magnaflow rockcrawler muffler.
Fresh spark plugs and gapped to spec.
The Procharger kit is top notch! All parts and materials are not cheap products. The packaging of each part set is done very nice with everything labeled. One of the best instruction manual I have seen for a product in awhile. My only complaint would be the instructions jump around a bit and dont finish a process, so if do not paying attention or read ahead you will do some steps then go back to finish it later. The Kit fit like a glove and there was no real fight to get the part on because of manufacturering flaws.
Thing you have to deal with.
Spark plug gap or replace with new.
PCV lines all needing hose clamps or modified.
New fuel injectors.
Relocation of alternator
Routing new intake tube's.
Routing new serpentine belt in new configuration.
Moving radiator back and mount intercooler.
The total install with 2 people took about 8 hours. The install was pretty straight forward with no major modifications to the vehicle. This is a OEM bolt on for a Jeep keep in mind, there is not much room to begin with. If you are not good with your hand this might not be a kit to DYI. I found most was difficult but lots of tight finger tip work while holding up parts. You could do this with one person but two people made it nice.
IF YOU HAVE the baxter oil system you will need the model that relocated the filter. The fixed filter model will interfere with the Procharger! My friend got a free kit for his JK and I have a new one on the way.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I physically installed this myself so know all about it now lol.
We did not realize we need to send stock Pcm file back to Procharger. We will have to wait to fully see what it does. Being who we are we did take it for a nice stroll down the road, with stock tune it was already a big improvement!
This is the 1/4mile information before we tore into it.
