I installed some of the MetalCloak inner fenders and the swaybar link bolt catches on the curved opening at full compression. I emailed MetalCloak and they suggested that I position the inner fender farther forward. The only way this could happen would be if I removed it and slotted the mount holes, which I'd rather not do.
I'm going to take a flap wheel to the link bolt and grind it flush with the nut and I think that will fix it.
Anybody else ran into this problem?

Those sway bar end links are waaayyy too long.

At hide height, the sway bar should be parallel with the ground

Hmmm...interesting. I'll have to get with them, as they are the links that came with their 3.5" GameChanger kit.

I would think since the suspension setup has just a few inches of compression travel, but with a lot of droop, you'd want the sway bar link long enough to keep it from over-centering and flipping forward.
I'll try and get a pic of it in full droop.

This. Those are probably links for a much higher suspension than what you have fitted.

Update:
Their 3.5" kit lists a front swaybar link to be 12.25", which is what I have. I'll have to get with them to see what they say.

I have the 2.5, but went with the upgraded links so I could set the level of the swaybar. They might have longer links than I thought on the 3.5" to allow for greater droop.

I have the same lift and those are the same end links I have. I asked the installer (who is a certified Metal Cloak installer) and he said the long links are for the droop the MC lift is capable of.

You might not like my solution, but I just trimmed my inner fender (I got my Bestop inner fenders on clearance and they were a pain to install anyway so I have no regrets):

On a 2+" AEV lift.

I've built a ton of street car/trucks......you want the sway bar level with the ground do it to do its job

Agree with above comments sway bar is too long. Plenty of options for shorter ones. Having an angle is absolutely fine but you just too much with those fenders .

Agree with the sway bar being too long but if you don't want to shorten it just grind away some of that slot in the fender liner until it clears.

You need to watch out if you make this link shorter. Too short and it may invert when fully drooped.

I'm just curious, what size of tire are you running and how many bump stop spacers do you have on the front and rear?

I have the same 3.5" MC lift and the links provided with the kit are the correct ones. The angle of the sway bar should be parallel with the ground at the mid travel of the shock length to eliminate the possibility of being inverted.

I have since removed the MC end links and went with the RK No Limits links because I like the joints better but they are set at the same length as the ones MC provided with the 3.5" kit.

I'm on a 38" Nitto Trail with only 1" of bump stop puck. It scored over 900 on the CTI trailer in August and wheeled Windrock perfectly.

Nice. 1" both front & rear?
Are you running the stock rear inner liner and fender?
Looks like your fronts are chopped?

I do have the Artec inner liners front and rear. Not really a big fan of them but they work. I did the fender chop but am going to remove them shortly and go the with the Motobilt highline fenders and probably high clearance inners from Motobilt as well.
