What’s work?
So I sold my JT to brother in law, like two months ago maybe, today I get a call…….and dear god I knew it was coming……they are both on speaker, both are giddy about…..wait for it…..an angry grill they just ordered. Of course my brother in law is about as mechanically inclined as a hairless cat so I’m supposed to help. After some quick deliberation I said “I can’t do it man, they don’t make a shower hot enough to wash that shit off, on your own with that one, Gods speed to ya.”

I would have disowned both of them and had the Gladiator repo'd. Or called the insurance and told them it was totaled. If ya get my drift.

Maybe gift them a starter mechanic's set? Probably a lot of good sales atm.

The Jeep is a good platform to learn on. Replacement clips and stuff are pretty cheap and there are a million tutorials on the YouTubes.

That’s what I told my wife, I should go get it or might be good time to tap that “phantom steering fire” issue.

I don’t blame you at all!!!

We have family members that are less ‘capable’ than that hairless cat.😂

Oh no no no no……. Anyone who’s even remotely capable of learning this type of stuff, can buy their own set of tools!!

Why? 😂. If you buy them a tool set ..….they start rippin’ and tearing. After they realize they **can’t figure it out**, they’re calling YOU to come fix it (everything is torn apart - parts, bolts, and tools everywhere, parts missing, etc).

Believe it or not…but there are some people who should NEVER touch any tools!

My brother in law embodies everything you said, fortunately he’s lazy so his attempts are minimal. He mounted a tire on his Dodge recently, my guess he didn’t have straight, just hammered it down and it fell completely off few days later. He drove about two blocks dragging everything on the ground.

Do you worry if your brother-in-law finds this forum? I wonder what a lazy, furless cat does to survive. Give him the tools and watch the show! Better yet, write up a how to here on how to install an angry grill. Share the link with him and see if he figures out who did the write up.

Dude. He's talking about installing an angry grille. That sort of behavior should be stifled as early as possible for the benefit of all mankind.

I actually got my dad a set of torx when he got his first jeep. (So he could stop borrowing mine.)
