98,000. Just had maintenance (oil, filter and tire rotation), 4x4 service (front, rear and transfer case) and the following was found and fixed:
valve cover gasket leak
oil cooler leak
idler pulley throwing grease

replaced plugs, coolant, pcv valve and serpentine belt

Biggest repair bill ever.

I have 91,000 on mine. I did have the dreaded passenger side cam failure and now it is in the shop getting a new clutch put in due to recall. Otherwise its has been defective free.

I know it doesn't help the pain any for anyone who has that failure, but the 2020 was the model year most plagued with that issue. You beat the heck out of the odds going over 60K (sucks it was just out of warranty).

2021 and am having the cam/rocker issue. 36,002 miles. It should be warrantied, but I did buy it second hand and I have mods now, though nothing to the engine itself…we will see.

Yeah, I think they know they’ve had enough of these that declining would be an invitation for expanded legal action, so just try to keep it quiet. How the 2020 has not be rolled into the other class action case is beyond me. Maybe because it’s a different design.

That class action thing is all screwed up. They included both the original 3.6 and the PUG versions claiming they were all part of the same design flaw.
Read the years and models covered - someone was clueless.

How was the "oil cooler leak" remedied? New engine oil cooler/filter housing?

Yes with another plastic OEM housing. If I would have know, I would have had the metal aftermarket piece used.

I just replaced the same unit on my wife's Mini.....after it broke and all the coolant leaked out in the garage. It's amazing how brittle that plastic gets after 100,000 miles.

2020, purchased 11/2019. High mileage update. I'm at 108,500 now. Had the rocker arm clicking issue a month back, after a cross country camping trip. I tried to avoid taking it to a dealer but 3 independent shops passed on the repair. Fortunately, I went to a different dealer, not the closest, and they had it repaired in less than 2 weeks. At first, they said it would be $1500 for the tear down to see what needed to be replaced and the assumed parts were backordered with no ETA. The next thing I know is they said it would be ready in 2 more days. My issues were on the right bank and the total bill was less than $2000. I think I lucked out, which was nice since I've had nothing but one issue after another with repairs on any of our vehicles.

Just hit 101,500. 2020 JTR

Cylinder #3 misfire starting. And of course throwing the code and CEL.

I have a set of coils and plugs here, but I’m hesitant to dig in (intake/plenum removal to access coils, major PITA) and then find out the coil and plug replacement was in vain.

Sucks. Really love this truck but it’s running like shit.
