I really like the look of this. Does anyone know of an S1 alternative that has an amber running light?
These S1 pods look bright AF. But would like to run this setup with a running light.
Update, I got a call from Bent and that said they have JT brackets in stock.

LookAgain....https://bentmotorsports.com/collections/featured-products
I only see a bracket for the JK Grille. Is the JT bracket different or it works for both?

I’m not sure if it will work or not, but my JKU is completely different behind the grill than the JT.
My ā€˜24 JT has a V shaped brace behind the grill that is not present on my ā€˜16 JKU.

I think it works for both but I'll ask him and double check.

I just asked and they are 2 didn't styles. One for the JK and the other for the JT. He is also looking to add a running light option. The combination of lights are up to you. You could have 3 running lights and two S1 lights. They can use separate switches or the running lights come on with the factory lights and the S1 lights are connected to a switch.... It's whatever you want.

I suggested that he find a nice quality RGB light set because some people like to play with colors.

Thanks for the double check. I'm thinking about running this with DD SSC1 lights. They have a running backlight and are similar in size. SSC1 are just a little bit taller. Looks like they will fit..

That is super cool! Only bad thing is that I have the front mounted trail cam on my grill and I don't think that would work with my current setup.

I will see if I can make my own mounting bar to put the lights mid way down inside the grill. That way the camera is plenty clear of the lights. I like the idea of the lights tucked inside the grill but the camera is more important to me.

How is the camera mounted right now? Is it attached to the grill?

It is the factory camera built into the grill.
I’ve been busy with other stuff but this has me intrigued as I’m not too impressed with the factory LED high beams and don’t want to spend a bunch of money on replacing the stock head lights for an occasional desert run.

Interesting idea, looks clean. I'd go for 4 as I have the front trailcam. I wonder if the bracket can be adjusted for this. There is a lot of stuff on the backside with the trailcam. Washer hose, coax cable etc...
I contacted Bent and ordered the bracket with 4 S1's mounted. The bracket does accommodate the Jeep trail cam when you leave the middle light (5th light) off the bracket. I do have a Warn VR10 winch installed in a metal Jeep OEM bumper, so Jake at Bent told me he found a workaround to removing the winch by simply loosening the front winch bolts, removing the rear, and tilting the winch forward to gain enough space to pop the lower grill clips off. I did not have to move the bumper at all. The rest of the install has been described by trlwspr previously, so I will not repeat it. Install took about an hour, and I connected mine to Aux 3.

So the only option is one that mounts the lights up high? I can understand that as a manufacturer has to keep costs controlled. I wonder if the lights could be hung from the bracket to lower them a bit in the grill.
Would you post pics as you install it?
Thank you in advance.

The bracket is about 2" high (top to bottom edges), and is grill width. It attaches to the bolt holes at the top of the metal lip above the radiator, with the "wings" of the bracket bolted on each side of the metal frame behind the grill. I cannot envision any way this bracket could be mounted any lower than pictured in the photos.
That said, you could send an inquiry in to Bent Motorsports directly. They are in San Diego County, CA.
I mounted this bracket a few days ago and did not take photos until the install was completed- sorry about that.

Thanks again.
So looking at the photos at the start of this thread (and on Bent Motorsports website) could you mount the lights to the bottom of the bracket (hang them)?
I’m looking to install completely inside the grill with no areas cut out of the grill inserts. I see around 3 1/4ā€ between the radiator and the inside of the grill and the lights are 2.1ā€.
Again, I’ll contact them too but just picking your brain.

The bolt for each of the lights is press fitted through the bracket, and the U-shaped light bracket attaches to the bolt. The bracket extends another inch or so beyond the back of the light housing so you will need to take that in account. You might be able to drill newer holes below each bolt to drop the brackets, but I am not sure if you would be able to reuse the original bolt or if you would have to abandon in place. There is also the possibility of your horns being in the way if you drop the lights lower on the bracket, as the horns are kind of snugged in between the lights.
