i was thinking light coat of primer then something like black plasti dip. Or i have some Boom mat sound deadener spray laying around for this summers project of coating the interior roof

Too, if they are using a good quality 3M tape for installation, it might damage the finish on the original panel.

the factory door skins get scratches when you look at them and think about a scratch.
I want to protect the factory door skins from getting worse. 6

easily solved with a heat gun and some rubbing alcohol if i ever decided to take them off.

Carbon Fiber, looks trick, and I have a thing for CF.

So, CF over plasti-dip bias.
Or pressure washers.:headbang:
I was trying to clean the crud off one rim, cutting right though the Plasti-Dip so I stripped most of the rest of the same way. I might need to redo them again. 🤔

Good luck with anything on the soft plastic door panels. I'm sure mine are scratched to heck, but not as much of a concern to me.
