This thing needs lifted bad

I’m super excited to have a new 2024 Jeep gladiator rubicon! After years with a Toyota Tacomas built as an overland rig, that did do some hard trails. I’m psyched to move into the Jeep world. Mother-in-law left me her car when she passed and with the coming tariffs and political nonsense we decided to hunt down a 2024 rubicon with various rebates and dealer incentives, we couldn’t resist.

First set of mods are a few overlandy things. After years of ridged stupid tailgates designed, it seems, specifically for spilling beers, I got a cheapo Hooke Off-road tailgate panel

Next mod was a 60% seat delete from SHW Offroad. Pretty excited for this. So much room for activities.

We had Decked drawers in my Tacoma. With their re-design, the short bed drawer set up has as much space as my Tacoma 6ft drawers. We like to be organized when camping.

Next step moving the bed rack and tent over.

Got the Leitner ACS forged bed rack and CVT Mt. Hood tent moved from the Tacoma. Had to buy a few parts from Leitner, since the bed is a foot shorter.

Have the medium sized storage box and water jug on one side. A custom mount for my pelican case (recovery gear) with 5lb propane tank on the other side.

She’s coming along.

I love the setup, also love the color. If you are still looking for lift ideas this is my 20 JTR stock on 33's, then with an AEV 2" Spacer Lift and 37" Mickey Thompsons.

Moved the Warn EVO 10s winch over from the Tacoma. Added a 500 amp isolator connected to one of the Aux switches.

And added a groove fair lead. Still need to cut the end of the winch line and redo the brummel knot so the loop on the end of the line is big enough to hook to the grove fair lead.

Pulled the Decked drawer system out to start some wiring and compressor mounting projects.

Have 8ga wire coming into the bed through a grommet in on if the bed plastic plugs. Anderson plug ready for a splitter for a hard mounted 200 watt solar panel on the RTT and 200 watt solar blanket ready to deploy whenever. The wire is in corrugated split loom, wrapped in wire loom tape, zip tied inter the truck, coming up into the cab of the truck via a rubber drain plug

Used an all pro Tacoma bed mount to hard mount an ARB twin compressor into the bed in a space under the decked drawer side wing. Wiring is run under the truck into the cab via a rubber grommet. Switch and chuck mount upcoming

For this build I wanted a full aux battery and solar panel set up. Was trying to figure out where or how to mount the Red Arc BCDC charger, batteries, and inverter.

Solution found. Under the rear panel of my 60% seat delete. Cut a piece of plywood to serve as a mounting location.
