Hello, I'm Steve. I just got my Tuscadero Sport S w/ max-tow this weekend. This is my first Jeep and so far it's been great.

I do have one question for you... What does your title or registration say is the color of your jeep? When I went to get the new title, the person at DMV asked me the color, I showed them the window sticker saying Tuscadero, and their head went 'tilt'. The person talked to someone else and they decided to leave to leave the color blank. I don't think it's a problem, but it is a question. Thanks...

I’m in Belgium and the options were “purple” or “unknown.” I liked the idea of unknown but they needed something in case it was stolen or whatever…makes sense, I guess.

When I’m back in the states, it’ll just depend on where we live I’m sure. I’d guarantee you states like Texas, Florida, and Cali will have “pink” as an option lmao

I’m weird, and I LOVE wiring projects. It’s been probably a decade since I had done anything … it felt great to nail this project the first try. I haven’t done the wiring for the white light yet. I ran out of supplies and the stores weren’t open 🫠

I agree, in my opinion…the Willys package is the perfect combination of black pieces against the bright Tuscadero … at first I wasn’t thrilled about the Willys JTs coming with the color matched fenders but owning it and seeing it every day, they go well. The tonneau cover really helps add even more black to mellow it out a bit lol

I’m a sucker for spending wasting losing money, so I’m really wanting a Alu-Cab top for our truck 😬 over here in Belgium, I found a place than I can get one for roughly €2500 or so…I was expecting them to be a lot more, so I’m really tempted to get one. The wife likes them but isn’t keen on blowing that much money at once lmao

Agree with you, I'm generally a fan of the paint matched top but when we started shopping for our Gladiator we had a couple colors we liked but only with the black top, including the Tuscadero. Planning on black for everything we add to ours, so far just sliders, skid plates, and a tonneau cover, but got some big plans.

Leaning towards some Method 703's in matte black for when we move up to 35's or 37's, still working on what tire we want to ultimately go with - wish we could get more options in 37x11.5, trying to minimize the overall width.

Damn does the red of the Rubicon’s somehow pop well with the pink too, doesn’t it? I never would’ve thought it looked good but seeing them in person, it works.

I got some fantastic news last week that will be bringing us back to the states this summer, specifically the mid-west this coming spring…and I’m chomping at the bit for what I want to get ME this time lmao

Leaning towards another Willys or Rubicon JT…but the deals on JLUs are ridiculous all across the country so I may go loaded JLUR. I’ve got time to decide, but I’m hoping they bring Bikini to the JTs. I’d be ordering one ASAP!

Hi, new owner here. Turning in my custom ordered 22 Tuscadero JLRU 4xe and picked up a new 24 Tuscadero JTMX I found online at a dealer in CA. I had it shipped & should be arriving to NJ in 4 days. Does anyone know if there are any other forums/threads dedicated to Tuscadero Gladiators?

There’s a FB group but it’s mostly ladies getting matching tumblers, purses, jewelry, etc. and bedazzling everything and anything on their JLs and JTs 🫠

A couple have actually cool/built off road rigs but most of them just post about random $5 accessories they find on Amazon lol

It’s called “Tuscadero Jeep Tribe”

I’m already in that group since it began, I have an Tuscadero Wrangler. And though I like some bling every now & then I’m looking for something a little more as far as my incoming Tusc Mojave. Suggestions and advice. I’m trying to find some side steps that will work without removing the oem rock rails. A bed cap, leveling kit/spacers info opposed to lifts. To eliminate or keep Aux battery/auto on off, pros cons.

All of those can be answered here with some minor searching or a post in the right area 😃

Only thing you likely won’t find easy or cheaply is steps that work with the factory rock rails.

There’s a forum sponsor on here working on some, blanking on the name right now, but they were SUPER expensive. Might be cheaper to find a set of the MOPAR rock rail side steps (if you can find a used set…they seem to be fairly rare).

I know it has been a while since your post, but I thought I'd suggest the IAG EZ-Step. They clamp onto the existing rock rails and are easy to install. I put a set on my anvil grey Willys. The only downside is that at $500, they cost more than some full steps. I've been happy with them so far.

Finally got her all cleaned up (to be shipped back stateside).

Can’t wait to start modding this truck, now that we don’t have the Belgian restrictions lol gonna do a bumper and winch, Alucab top, and bed cargo management stuff (nothing fun there). Also really wanna do a small lift and new tires.
