About the fit after few years, how is the noise level or creaks and general jeep noises. I know in general a convertible is louder.

Since I have a few off road options the Mojave will stay 80-90% stock. Fly fishing trips, hunting, hockey etc two tracks, fire roads and main trails.

main ride is a Durango w/o towing. Need to tow small items-jet skis or RZR.

had and have XJ’s not daily driver but the pan of loose bolts is something I don’t want in my daily.

Grand Cherokee L is a far second option that I have not looked into yet.

I traded my wrangler for the sport s model with max tow package. Has the best payload and tow ratings. I think the sport will meet your needs better than the mojave. I too wanted a mojave and realized the sport would be the better and more affordable option.

Only thing I can offer is the Mojave drives better out of the box than any Jeep I've ever had. Like with all Jeep they are different in what will rattle and what won't. My Wrangler that I replaced with this Mojave was quieter inside with less wind noise and rattles. With a removable top, you never know what you will get and when it will rattle and pop/creak.

Both my Max Tow and Mojave have been relatively quiet on the road, and capable off road. Very little towing--I use my Ram diesel for heavy towing. The max tow is probably better for medium towing, but I feel the little 220 cubic inch engine is a limiting factor for towing at altitude, in mountains, etc. I prefer the ride and dampening on bumps from the Mojave.

Thanks, my son has several Ram 2500, 3500 and 5500 so I really need to tow, it’s covered.

mine will be under 4000 and flat land, short trips in Michigan. Two jet skis and trailer or aluminum trailer and RZR. Just don’t want to be within 1000 of tow capability.

Mojave: yes for the driving comfort, 1 inch higher, shocks, seats…will stay with Mojave. Black fenders/top I like the traditional contrast of body color.

My XJ’ have been heavy modded and don’t care but they sound like a pan of loose bolts. Haha!

The good thing about the Jeep is it's pretty loud in general so you can't hear most noises. It's when you try to make them more quiet inside that you start to hear all the other noises it makes.

Bought my Mojave late 2023. Just as quiet as the day I drove it home. No rattles at all. Of course there is more wind noise than a traditional vehicle and slightly louder now that I added a sunrider but its well worth the addition as I open it almost daily driving home from work. Have been very happy with my Mojave as it drives better than any other Gladiator I test drove.

Thanks! This is what I was actually looking for.

fully understand road noise and jeep noise,

the quality of design and manufacturing seems to put the old issue aside. Issue of sounding like a chip pan of loose parts after a few years and 50k miles.

The downside of the Mojave is the bad payload. It starts at 1,100 and drops from there. Mine is an X and has something like 850 payload. Granted, a non-X would be much higher because of the lack of steel bumper weight and other weight factors.

As far as towing capacity - the 2025s aren't far behind the max tow at 7,000 pounds.
Yes, it's been upped for the current model year (maybe 2024 but I have not researched that)
Mojave used to be 6,000 like the Overland and so on.
It currently sits at 7,000 - but the payload COULD be a major factory for people who haul a lot of "stuff".

The 2024/2025 are also VERY quiet compared to prior year Gladiators. My JTMX is night and day difference in cabin sound. They did a decent job - but again, the X has the MOPAR roof "headliner" treatment - but so did my 2022 and this is still a lot quieter.

No rattles or creaks on my 2021. No complaints - and I usually complain loudly about my vehicles if they have recurring issues. Just a rear axle leak that was successfully addressed a couple years back. I think the Mojave just may turn into a long term family member.

No rattles or creaks on my 2020 or 2022 Overland and this 2025 JTMX is even quieter. No rattles or squeaks, and the cabin is quieter than others I've owned or driven. You can actually have conversations in it.

Unless something really changes in a huge way - like a 4xe JT with the same towing and payload and a 50 mile range on battery alone, this 25 may be a longer-term keeper.

Yes, the 2024 Mojave was listed as 6k for towing while the Rubicon was 7k. That was the deciding factor in my Mojave vs. Rubicon debate. My boat/motor/trailer come in at about 5.5k so I wanted the extra towing capacity (even though a round-trip to the marina is about 10 miles on a totally flat road in the Florida Keys). And that only happens 4 or 5 times a year to take it out of the water for a trip to the service dealer or bringing it home to do some additional work on it. In the event of a hurricane, there would be a trip of about 75 miles to get it out of the Keys to a friends house inland but that would be the exception and even then, the roads are totally flat.

I still don't know how Stallantis magically added 1,000 lbs. of towing without any major, discernable changes to the Mojave but maybe it was underrated in prior years.

Has anyone compared the weight capacities inside the door on both the 2025 Rubicons and Mojaves?

I drove an XJ for years. They’re a cramped, miserable, rough riding POS compared to a Gladiator. No comparison in comfort and refinement.

The Mojave and Mojave X starts at 1,100 pounds payload and drops from there with added stuff.
The 2025 Rubicon and Rubicon X start at 1,200 pounds payload -

So the Mojave is 100 pounds lower payload than Rubicon.
Same towing as Rubicon.

Rubicon is 6,250 GVWR
Mojave is 6,140 GVWR

So a big question - why is the Mojave a lower GVWR than the Rubicon by 100 pounds???

The door numbers will vary widely with the options.
