2024 Gladiator Mojave X….
This happened about 3x in the last couple weeks.
I use Carplay all the time. Jump in, start the truck, Carplay opens up, loads and usually continues where I left off (playing spotify as normal).
Those 3x ….. I jump in, start the truck…. and the music hiccups & is jittery. It sounds so bad, you can’t even tell what the songs are. I‘m usually on the road driving by the time it starts. So,….I Pull over…. Reboot phone, shut off truck. Try again…nope…Even the screen is jittery (like its slow to load). At this point….I’m going old school and selecting an FM station.
The next day? Everything was fine.
Yesterday….same thing. My husband was with me, so we switched over to HIS phone and it did the same thing.
It’s not our phones.
Seems like things clear up after its sitting for a while and/or you get in it the next day.
Is there something that can be done to reset while you’re on the road/pulled over? A Carplay reset? Or some setting to force a reboot (of sorts).?
Or is this something that’ll end up being a warranty fix eventually??
Thanks!
