We wanted to take a moment to share some difficult news and offer some clarity for those of you who followed Jason Seaver’s work.
Jason, the founder and creative force behind Terra Acoustics, passed away in December 2024. Many of you knew him—or at least knew his work—through his passion for high-quality audio and his dedication to the Jeep community. He poured all he had into making Terra products not only sound amazing but feel like they truly belonged in the vehicles we love.
Jason was deeply committed to getting every detail right, and he cared about the people who cared about the craft. He genuinely loved the conversations, the feedback, and the shared excitement over gear and design. If you ever got to speak with him, you know how much pride he took in that connection.
Before making any public announcement it was important to his family that they better understand what was going on during the last few months and weeks of his life - as well as the months following his death. Out of respect for Jason and his life’s work we wanted to get that right.
We’d like to clear up one important point: Terra Acoustics was never sold or rebranded. Any claims to the contrary are false. Jason created Terra from the ground up, and the company was never sold, transferred to, or affiliated with Audio Uprising, despite what may be circulating. It’s important to us—and to his legacy—that this truth is known.
Thank you to everyone who supported Jason’s vision. He really loved working for everyone here who loved his speakers.
