Hey- I am new to Jeep and just bought a 2025 Gladiator Nighthawk and the factory speakers are terrible! I just installed new speakers but still not getting enough bass and looking to add a 8 or 10 inch powered subwoofer under the passenger seat. So far none of the local installers have the info to install. Just looking to see if anyone has any suggestions on this! Thanks all!

Same here. I'd say the TrailSeven video offers enough info to do it yourself (with or without their $100 add-on T-taps). That's my plan. Just watching for a great sale.

Did you mount it down, build a bracket, or what?
No mount. Slides right into the cavity underneath passenger seat. Doesn’t move at all.

What's it like for the passenger? Is the amp resistant to water?

No clue on water resistance, would check the manufacturers product detail page.
No complaints from passengers. It also comes with a dial so you can adjust the bass to your liking.

I see a lot of people really worrying about blocking the vent under there. Is that just a people-comfort thing?

I have the 8 inch Kicker sub and it sits perfectly behind the rear passenger seat on the drivers side without the need to attach it to anything.

Some people say the 10" fits the same. Others say you have to remove the net pocket.
It looks like the harness that comes with the 10" won't reach from there to the ground on the transmission tunnel though. Not that it's hard to add a longer ground wire.

I got the sub from trailseven along with their harness. The biggest issue I had was getting an ignition source. Ended up buying a harness from amazon that plugs into the lighter plug and gives you a wire off of it to get ignition from. Had to take most of the dash apart to do it that way but I liked it better than tapping into a fuse under the hood.

Is their current harness newer? Their install vid goes direct to the battery (as all amps did in my younger days), not to any existing fuse.
