Adding remote start to 2025 Gladiator

Have been searching threads for the best option for adding remote start to a 2025 gladiator. It appears that Mopar doesn’t have their own product so aftermarket is the most popular option. Please share any thoughts on product installation, etc. thank you.

I used an MPC kit on my JK years ago. It installed inside the steering column inline with the ignition switch. You would press the lock button three times quickly and it would remote start. Pretty slick add on. Worked fine.

Looks like they still offer something similar for the new Jeeps, it just installs differently. You can also buy the kit with separate remotes.

Folks hate all the new electronics in vehicles, but this is where the new tech is pretty nice. Installing remote start in the 90s and early 2000's was far more invasive.

I've seen people say all you need is a remote start remote (and programmer or locksmith/dealer) and to activate the options through JScan. It only appears to work on automatics though. I tried in my 21 6 speed and the remote is not recognized. Seems they use different radios (signals).

I got the MPC kit as well. I installed it myself on my gladiator. It's a pretty simple install. They even have an app to where you can lock/unlock, remote start and GPS location for your vehicle.

If I remember correctly, it took about an hour. It's basically a wiring harness that plugs into your start button. Part of that harness goes through your dash to the wiring harness behind your glove box. I remember the instructions being pretty easy to follow.

Viper smart start would be my absolute recommendation. Very nice stuff. Lots of dealers. If you happen to be in Colorado, I have my recommended dealer/installer.

The MPC kit worked great. Only issue was installing software on PC and programming
