Yes you'll need the bypass cable. It's cheap 15 bucksI've used JSCAN on my JK, but not my Gladiator yet. Are you able to do it with just an OBD2 bluetooth adapter like older Jeeps, or does the Gladiator work differently? I ask because I've seen something about interfacing with the SGW for JSCAN, but haven't dug far into what you need for that yet. I know I can enable it with the Tazer Mini, but I'm thinking about unmarrying the Tazer and enabling it with JSCAN instead. The Tazer copies the current computer settings, then emulates them with your customizations. When you unplug it, the Jeep goes back to the same settings you had before plugging it in. Since I want to be able to remove the Tazer for service and warranty trips to the dealer, I'd like to still have options like LED lights and auto headlights turned on permanently in the computer itself.
