The only ones that come with the rear fogs are European spec Gladiators. US variants only have reflectors.
Great to know. I plan on importing the Mojave to Europe and will need them. I will use your step-by-step to install them.

Seems to me one could get some plastic, the stuff used to make holsters. Cut it our using the original reflectors pieces as a guide. Then drill holes for mounting back into the bumper. Install flush mount Rough Country Black series and be out the door for about a hundred bucks.
that $300 for “dust” backup lights is ridiculous! Some formed plastic and cheap to but led lamps installed.
when are these guy going to stop charging 3 times what it costs. No wonder people by Chinesestuff. Half tempted to movk them up and have them built in bulk and sell for about $20 as a bracket, install the flush mo7nt light pod of your choice!

I have very thick Kydex like material, you can’t break it. It takes a lot to bend. As to cheap China lights. Nope, just surface mount 1000 linen waterproof leds. I am into this project sub $100 next post is pictures

Ok pictures of the plastic way.... remove old reflectors. Break one up so the red reflector is all gone, so it will lay flat!
Lay flat on surface of your choice, steel kydex, or whatever.
Trace and cut out.
Finish em up paint or what have you and install. Tip. After laying the piece flat on your material clamp and drill holes then insert plastic wall retention screw hangers (used to hang stuff on your wall) through both pieces and then you can actually trim with a power tool using the original piece as a guide similar to routing. This will make it immensely easier than cutting out the shape and trying to locate the holes afterwards.
I did this with a Dremel and the project start to finish was about an hour and a half. The lights arrive tomorrow after I install I will post a picture of that as well

Bottom line for me is if this holds up and holds up I like to look it looks factory as far as the texture if it doesn’t hold up I can always replace the cutouts with steel not a difficult project. However this Kydex/PVC is very very tough stuff. Also not being steel is probably less prone to passing vibrations. That I don’t know cause I’m not an engineer

Inhave some rough country and some pro comp coming in as well as some one up lighting.. I’ll see what gives me the best look. I don’t need multi-hundred dollar lights for Back up,lights so we will see.

You do realize you just destroyed your US DOT-required rear facing reflectors...

Kevin
Thanks for the heads up but Yes Ido. It is required for manufacture but not for use. the Vic requires functioning tail and brake lights red or amber but not white. It actually does not require a rear bumper, just the front. Just check the aftermarket bumpers, haven’t seen a reflector on any of em. To be frank, I crackEd the one backing into something, that is why I did the replacement in the first place. I just got all of the red off so it woukd lat flat.

This is night pictures. Exterior and through the back up cam. Note I did not put in reverse for the backup cam... no reverse lights (stock) were used or harmed during production.
