He all. I have been looking at the various adapters that enable the screen to play streaming content from my Android Samsung and don't know whether or not any of them are compatible. Some use a cable system from phone to dongle and dongle to vehicle. Some are wireless from phone, I would assume bluetooth. But my main compatibility question is whether or not the USB port in the center dash allow two way traffic to include data, not just a charge.

Does anyone have any experience? Wife wants to watch Amazon Prime while I try not to.

If memory serves correctly, the USB in center consol, and the USB on the dash all are compatible with android auto /apple car play with compatible USB cord. However, as of now only music streaming is usable. If you're looking for youtubr or Netflix ect, a special adapter is needed. But be aware that it is illegal to have video media playing in the front seats of a vehicle while in the vehicle is in motion.

On my 2019 JLUR I used this bad boy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Q65SX47?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2
And was able to use it in the center console usb plug. but the front ones seem to be better with power.

However, curious question, My 2024 Mojave has the wireless carplay already, I would think your 2025 Gladiator would have that too. did they take that feature away?

So the initial wireless Carplay setup does require a cable attachment, while it exchanges information from your phone and the car. , you should have received a message on your phone if you want to enable wireless CarPlay. you may need to delete it from your and from the vehicle and try the setup again. But as I said, I am doing wireless carplay out of the box and no external devices required. No wired cables either.
Siunce that I know setup a magnetic charger on the from of the center console.
