Playback with CarPlay

I have the smaller screen radio with CarPlay. Each time I plug in my iPhone 13 Pro via USB and play music via Spotify, I am noticing the music stutters and kind of "tears" when playing. Tough to describe, close to skipping but sounds more like a stutter.

I have tried different cables with the same issue. Bluetooth playback works without problems. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions for a fix?

What happens if you playback an audio file, rather than streaming?

Like the others, I don't have an answer. But provide a few more data points so we can pinpoint the issue.

Is it only Spotify? Have you used Apple Music, or a podcast app, or, etc? Does this issue happen with any of the others?

What you are describing would drive me nuts. I haven't had the issue, but we'll see if we can figure it out. (Switching to bluetooth only is also NOT an option, as CarPlay is a much nicer UX to deal with.)

I have noticed this too, like a slight skip..
Other people haven’t noticed it till I pointed it out. I thought it was was playing non downloaded songs that were not loading fast enough but I haven’t really trouble shot it yet
