Hi there. Though this is not a specific recommendation, I am offering an observation from my experience. I am using a 'Jeep JT cab cover'. I got it on Amazon for under $55. Features I liked include it has adjustable tie down straps and a storage bag. (This particular item is no longer available.)

I use the cover for occasional use when I've taken off the doors or replaced them with steel pipe half doors. It does fit tightly with the roof on, but it does work with the roof.

One area of dissatisfaction is the way it fits over the door mirrors. Even when folded in, the fit is very tight and tends to shorten the length of the drop over the door openings.

In spite of its seemingly light construction, it is holding up well with multiple uses. I need it about 4 times per year, and it still looks like new. The material is "breathable 600D Oxford fabric",

My take aways: You don't need to spend a lot on it. (Consider how much you will actually use it.) You might need to swing or remove your mirrors when using. Practice putting it on a couple of times before using on the trails - you will figure out there is an easy way, and a hard way to put it on. Good luck.

I've tried several and the best one I've found is the Mopar one fits tight and doesn't leak fyi if you buy an adjustable center pole it will never pool water.

IMHO there two good choices the Jeep/Mopar cover and the RainGear cover. I have the Jeep cover for my Gladiator and my wife's Wrangler both are quick and easy to deploy and easy to pack up.

We had rain in town yesterday so I had to pull it out and had it installed in about 5 minutes, I didn't tighten it much as it wasn't windy and I wanted to get out of the rain.

I picked mine up on Amazon. But worth shopping around and seeing where you can find the best price.

Thanks for the advice on a centre pole!

I have a RainGear and love it! It works with the hard top, soft top up or down (I use it down to keep water from pooling). It fits around hinge mounted mirrors very well. I roll it from front to back and it's very quick to deploy. I've had mine since July 2019. It's been through numerous storms and I haven't noticed any water intrusion.

Right on! Thanks! Seems like the two covers people recommend are either the Mopar or RainGear

@Wicked Awesome when I was first shopping the RainGear looked great, but the a couple reasons I went with the Jeep was well price, once I compared price, shipping and tax. The other was I wanted one as small and lightweight, without being cheap, as possible as I wanted to store it behind the passenger seat. Last was the directions on the site said it had 9 straps - Jeep/Mopar had 6. I understand the RainGear for the gladiator doesn't have 9-straps but that was one of the reason I went with Jeep.

I'd love a good side by side comparisons including packed size and weight of the two, just never found that. IMHO you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks Y-Guy. I'm leaning towards the Jeep cover.

I use a boat cover support pole sitting on the center console lid. Like this:

Boat Cover Support Pole.jpg
That is the perfect set up to keep the water from pooling mine can disassemble in seconds and store under the seat and cover behind the seat

I like the Rain Gear one. Can be used with the factory soft top still on and doors off (other brands were too short and didn't cover the bottom of the door opening).

Can also be used with the soft top frame off and front doors on as it has cutouts for mirrors.

No leaks as of yet after 2 years of use.

I wonder if the Rain Gear cover would keep feral cats out? I don't have a garage or shop and I don't want those damn feral cats making a home in my Gladiator.

Both Mopar and Rain gear have strap that will tie down to either a side step / nerf bar / frame at the front and rear. But I can't comment if that will stop any critters getting in. I've never had the issue and when its been at my cottage in the "sticks and woods", I've never found a critter trying to get inside the Jeep.
