Has anyone installed a Rubicon Sway bar disconnect on a Sport Model JT?

My thought is to buy the Evo manual sway bar disconnect and to install it on the Rubicon sway bar assembly so I don't need any of the electrical connections or the actuator. Just looking for input if this is a direct install or if there may be some modifications needed. Okay with that, just don't want to be surprised.

I did the whole manual rod disconnects on my previous JL and not interested in that for my Gladiator. Just looking at easy options. Thanks

It's bolt on, did the same thing on a Mojave and on a JK. On both vehicles I used EVO's air option so I could do it with the push of a button but at any speed as I pleased.

@Mightytalldude has done exactly that.

That would probably be my final choice but enjoying the Apex's for now. People in Colorado think those swaybars are gold with the prices they asking.

I wouldn't say no. Could recover some cost from selling the Apex's...
I bought a used one from a forum member for $300, with the motor. I thought I’d use it, but haven’t. Happy to pass it along for the same price. It’s still in its box.

Yep, did that. Very easy. The EVO knob is easier to turn than the inexpensive JK/JL eBay units, but both work.

What I am looking for!
Just have to keep an eye out for ones that pop up. Sometimes local 4x4 shops will have them if someone has upgraded their rig to a different unit. $200-$300 w/o motor, $300-$400 with. You can resell the motor for pretty much the same price. The motors go bad often I've heard.

Wouldn't need the motor obviously but I'll look into it. Could of sworn those Evo units were cheaper. 🤨 I'll keep you posted.

I've looked around and see a few different part numbers. Is a there a specific part number? The MOPAR site lists a few whole assembly part numbers. Thanks for help

Part number on mine is 68601966AB. It's off a 2023 Wrangler JLU. The B means second iteration, if I remember correctly they go AA, AB, AC, AD for each iteration if there's any changes from the previous version, but the first number should stay the same.
