Happy to report I picked up a 2020 Rubi about a month ago and am already going down the rabbit hole on where to spend my money!

As the title implies, I live in wonderful PA where the po po aren’t shy about writing a ticket for many things - including if your tires aren’t fully covered by the fenders.

Cracks me up seeing locals with their tires sticking out but I’ve had buddies get tickets for it 🤷

I did my best to search but I couldn’t find much info on this topic:

Anyone found the perfect combo of wheel offset and/or wide fender flares that I can reference to ensure my tires are fully covered?

I’m going to shove some 37s in there and see if I love it or regret it.

Thanks All!

AEV rims. 17x8.5, offset +25mm, back spacing 5.72" will keep your tires under the fender. But with 37's. Think you will rub.

I'm south of the 'burgh. On the Mon river.
I have 17x8.5, 0 offset, 4.75 backspacing with 37's. No rub. They poke a little.

AEV does their builds tucked in. For my 35s, it was a +25 offset and 5.72 backspacing on an 8.5 wide 17 wheel. That's how they spec their wheels and I used those numbers on the Method 703 wheels I bought. Check out AEVs wheels and lifts and see what they recommend for 37s.

Thank you both for your recommendations! I’ll check out AEV!

Also I’m in Pittsburgh and bounce between here and Oakland, MD.

Look at how the JLUXR fenders attach. they come with a slight flat extension. If the extension come off then it can be installed on the JT.

In case you haven’t bought your Wheels And Tires yet, I bought -12, 4+ backspace, fuel covert wheels, and factory 33’s. When I took it to the dealer for an unrelated visit, I asked if it would pass inspection, as is. The answer was “NO”, not in Pennsylvania. I had to seek out fender flare extensions, or figure out what to do with the wheels. At that time, Mopar didn’t offer any. I found a place in Australia, called “double black off-road”. Some people despise fender flare extensions. I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on my rig. Here’s the link in case you want to go with a wider stance.

I see Jeeps with no fenders running around, but know I'd get pulled over two blocks from my house if I extended past the legal limit!

The pic in the link looks a lot like what I see on Broncos around here

25 offset, 5.72 backspacing. 8.5 wide x 17 wheels. AEV wheels or use their specs (above). I used their specs and bought Method 703 cause I did not want black or gun metal wheels. I used thes in 35/12.5 BFG ATs.

I must have the same luck as you. If I took my doors off, without tube doors, like I see around here all the time, I’d be the one to get pulled over.
after I bought my expensive, Australian, fender flare tensions, Mopar came out with the Wrangler, extreme recon trim level. They included the fender flare extensions due to the bigger/wider tires.

The fender flare extensions also keep the slop off the side of your rig. That was annoying, until I got the extensions.

Yeah, my tires don;t even stick out, but I hit a puddle and the sides look like I've been muddin'!
